Finally, someone considers us men.

Talk about anything in here.

I want one of those beds like on Star Trek (original series). It's just a synthetic covered cushion on a pedestal-like frame. When you get in, heat lamps turn on above it so you don't get chilled. Always made and presentable for guests.

A coffin might be cool too, just close the lid. I mean, what's your mom going to say to that? "You sleep there?!" "Yes, mom, but only during the day."
"Those who believe will be saved...so they say. Get it?"

It's a question of whether you read it as:
Someone finally considers us to be real men.
or
Someone is finally consider{ate} of us men.

The former is how *I* read it. The latter is how it was *intended* to be read.

Waste of money aside, I'm just waiting for the day this thing malfunctions and makes itself when somebody is in the middle of sleeping.

Waste of money - as opposed to anime, video games, etc. At least this bed performs a functional task that can save time rather than waste it. ^_^

As to malfunctioning, that won't happen if you design it properly.

Making a bed is not a functional task, as I have stated previously, you simply get back into the bed, thus making making it in the first place pointless. Anime, video games, etc., provide entertainment and so long as you enjoy them, are not a waste of time. :p

Ah - it seems I have misspoken. What I mean to say is that it can be properly designed so as to be unable to make itself by accident when someone's using it. (However, mine would be designed so that I can operate the self-making mechanism whilst another sleeps in it - you never know . . . : : evil grin : : ) I have enough experience with machinery and electronics to know how unreliable they can be. This, my friend, is why I use a Mac. ^_~

EDIT: Re:UC - Well chosen, good sir. However, I must admit that I had a sneaking suspicion concerning a, how you say, "rickrolling". Good to know I was mistaken for the first time in my life. : : knocks on wood : :

Our campus chapter of Brothers Under Christ put on a dance show for the Phi Lamb girls and they did that scene from the movie:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=j-C0gqeGUFk
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
