The video was cool, but that story is scary. There's definitely something wrong with what those kids are being taught at home. . .

The date on the article is April 1. Call me a skeptic.

It's entirely possible in this society, but in my experience, children that young are rarely that coordinated.
Embraced by a gentle breeze, my heart breaks as I think of you.
All alone at the top of the hill, I watch as the seasons go by.

Wishing for courage softly, I pray.

- Abraham Kuyper

"God the great Creator of all things doth uphold, direct, dispose, and govern all creatures, actions, and things, from the greatest even to the least, by His most wise and holy providence, according to His infallible foreknowledge and the free and immutable counsel of His own will, to the praise of the glory of His wisdom, power, justice, goodness, and mercy."

-John Piper

"All of Christian life is ceaseless worship of God the Father, through the mediatorship of God the Son, by the indwelling power of God the Spirit, doing what God commands in Scripture, not doing what God forbids in Scripture, in culturally contextualized ways, for the furtherance of the Gospel, when both gathered for adoration, and scattered for action, in joyous response to God's glorious grace."
- Mark Driscoll

"Believers do not pray with the view of informing God about things unknown to Him, or of exciting Him to do His duty, or of urging Him as though He were reluctant. On the contrary, they pray in order that they may arouse themselves to seek Him, that they may exercise their faith in meditating on His promises, that they may relieve themselves from their anxieties by pouring them into His bosom; in a word, that they may declare that from Him alone they hope and expect, both for themselves and for others, all good things."

That does help. Thanks. I was hoping nobody would stoop that low for April Fools, but unfortunately, I've seen worse.

That is one reason I HATE april fools. I really believe it should be done away with. I don't mind certain things. But eventually april fools just isn't funny anymore. :(

It should be elsewhere on CAA. Can't remember where exactly. I had copied the link to my email, so I forgot to copy the new link and had pasted that instead.

Holy sh... that's screwed up! Doesn't exactly inspire confidence in me - I'm teaching third grade for my upcoming practical. No, it's fine, they can be naughty but nothing like this.

Non-disciplined kids + bad parenting + unresolved conflict issues = serious problem.

Come quickly Jesus!

IGN?

This makes me die a bit more inside u_u It's not really helping the whole public school side at all u_u/ It's a scary thought that 3nd graders could think up such a thing u_u The article said that the teacher taught students with learning disabilities including ADD. Could that cause kids with ADD to act out that much? I have no clue, but ny paranoia level just shot up another notch u_u

Wow, kids are now killing teachers, just because they get in trouble and do not want to deal with a scolding. It makes me bit uneasy to enroll my future children in a public school. I hope this incident is not blamed on a violent video game. >_>

Really it simply legitimizes the need for a just God.

Our society decided that it knew more than a "mythical being like a Deity" and that on it's own man's basic inner goodness will always triumph...Hmm, how many holocausts and school shootings will it take before we understand reality?

Parents are just as much to blame, and our apathy as a country is going to cause alot of heartache and pain. We really need to continue praying, since this is just getting out of hand.

A distrubing twist of events, to be sure. Impossible, appearently not.
I'm not, however, too surprised as MTV has done at least one or two how-tos on how to kill your parents.
Plus, just because a kid is mentally or physically impared, it does not mean they are incapable of such things as murder and the like.
To know what they're really thinking, one must interact positvely with them on a personal level; mono y mono, comprene?
If all parents did this with their children, we wouldn't have these kinds of problems, but in reality, this ideology is simply not the case, especially with mediums like MTV booming because today's generations are quickly growing farther apart, and the vicious cycle continues.
That is why new christian mediums like CAA and CCM magazine were created, to help draw the children back to their parents and vice versa via the web, TV, and print.
Personally, I think it would be good for all of us to keep those children in our prayers.
