Whoops...just found out why the joke on IGN is so funny. And it's just what I thought.
The joke is that the movie is REAL. It works as a joke because it seems so incredible, and because today just
happens to be April Fool's day. Clever, huh? So they make you think that it's an obvious April Fool's Day prank, but the prank is that it's no prank at all.
It had me guessing for a while. I was all, "Well, if this is a hoax, it's one elaborate-looking one.
OR the joke could be that it's
real, but they want you to
think that it's fake. But then again..." and it went back and forth like this for me for a while.
And Link's not as good-looking as I would've hoped had I kept my hopes for a Zelda movie up. It's not my series, but I'm a Nintendo fan and all, soooo...
Oh yeah, and Microsoft's prank is pretty funny too.
And I wasn't confuzzled about who the guy was...I was always under the impression that Tarnish was a guy. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't. I just don't know. *hands on head and falls over*
EDIT: *Gets back up* WHAT THE----MitsukiLover? (Is that how your name was spelled?) *points* *falls over laughing for not noticing sooner*
