Well I'm kinda partial to the Mohave, but the Sahara runs a close second.

I agree with CDL - My favorite desert is the Sahara - it's pretty darn cool (and hot, too). :thumb:

However, my favorite DESSERT (as in food) would be dark chocolate truffles.

If it's deserts, I think I'd pick the Taklamakan, or maybe the Atacama.

As far as desserts go: pumpkin pie, baklava, brunekakor, peperkakor (can't remember the spelling), marzipan stolen loaf, fruitcake (the stuff may family makes, not those godawful storebought bricks)

I think the Gobi Desert is pretty interesting, but Mojave just sounds cool. ^^

For desserts, I love almost any kind of cheesecake (especially with strawberries and/or chocolate), buckeyes, and ice cream (especially chocolate or moosetracks).

Girl Scout cookies are good too.

I love Samoa girl scout cookies, but I think they should be samoan sized as well. Those cookies are tiny, whereas a samoan equals three of me. Therefore samoa cookies should be triple the size of normal cookies as weel. What do you think? It makes sense to me.

I like to make my own ice cream sundays, but it has to be with Sanders Hot Fudge or Caramel. The problem is you can only buy those in Michigan, so every time I go up there to visit my family I bring back a case.

Cheesecake is definately a top favorite of mine. Close behind though, is cookies n' cream ice cream and a good ol' fashioned hot fudge (or caramel) sunday--with whipped cream and nuts to boot. However, I have been known to put away more than my fair share of pumpkin cake/pie. Mmmmm....

How about Nanaimo bars.. Of course, those people who've been to Nanaimo, will recognize the old joke: "What's in a Nanaimo bar?"

Strangely, I'm also listening to the song "I'm Glad I'm Not in Nanaimo" right now.

I'm glad I'm not... nevermind.

Pretty much in general: ice cream, cheese cake, brownies, pudding, jelly bellies (if I'm not having it for a snack), chocolaty foods, cake, and anything not coconut. I could get more specific, but this will sufice

Chocolate!

Also chocolate cake, cupcakes, pecan pie, and some desserts I get down in the FL Keys-- a certain type of peanut butter pie and chocolate turtle pie. Graham cracker cake and those peanut butter cookies with Reese's peanut butter cups baked into them that my mom makes are good too. I have a major sweet tooth, so I go for just about any kind of dessert. My favorite ice cream is moose tracks.

Ice Cream
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

If you are talking about desserts, then well, I've always really enjoyed chocolate pie and cake.

I like cake in any form but white. White cake is blah. Blah is bad. Cake is good. The two should not mix. :brow: And I like anything with chocolate or caramel....just not nuts....yuck...

I love pies with coffee; pumpkin pie, lemon meringue pie, pecan pie, hot apple pie, those would do it for me. ^_^ I'm also a big cheesecake fan - with coffee. Maybe I just like coffee for dessert. *hehe*

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Desserts: Cheesecake! Pudding; Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice cream; German chocolate cake; and galactoboriko (I'm not sure of the spelling). It's a Greek custard that a friend of mine makes. The best part is the crust on the bottom that has been soaking in the syrup for hours.

Which brings me to a disagreement with CDL. Buttermilk is by far the best pie around.
