My favorite anime song would be from the NOIR Series called "LES SOLDATS", and also some songs from Berserk but i can't remember what there called, oh well.
"When you two regard each other as brother, and this man's ambition crumbles your death will be decided by him, and then there will be no escaping your fate."

The opening to "Rumiko Theater" is my #1 favorite theme

"I want to Change the World" (Inu Yasha 1st opening)
"I Am" (2nd Inu yasha opening)
"Obsession" (.hack//sign)
The opening to "Onegai Teacher"
The opening to "I, My, Me Strawberry Eggs"
The opening to "Cowboy Bebop"

Besides openings, I love "Ai no Senshi" from Sailormoon R.
"Key of the Twilight" (.hack//sign)
"White Station" (I, My, Me Strawberry Eggs)
Um, the song Ami sings on her short movie (Ami-chan no hatsukoi) and is the ending of Sailormoon SuperS.
"Walk in the Rain" by Yoko Kanno (Cowboy Bebop)
"Voices" by Yoko Kanno (Macross Plus)
"Wanna be an Angel" by Yoko Kanno (Macross Plus)

I've gotten to like Sailor Moon's opening... I haven;t gotten to R yet, so I can't comment on it's opening yet. (Assuming it does use a different theme song; two disks to go on Sailor Moon Classic).

Definitely "Copperia no Hitsugi" from Noir.
To all, life thou givest, to both great and small.
In all life, thou livest, the true life of all.
We blossom and flourish as leaves on a tree
And wither and perish, but naught changeth thee.

"Cruel Angel's Thesis" - Neon Genesis Evangelion (my all-time favourite)
"Rinbu Revolution" - Revolutionary Girl Utena
"Give a Reason" - The Slayers
"Breeze" - The Slayers
"Just Communication" - Gundam Wing

my favorite anime theme songs would have to be Fukai Mori from Inu-Yasha, My Will from Inu-Yasha and the First Season Digimon Intro. Dunno if that one counts, though...

For some reason, I really like the opening from Boogiepop Phantom too.

As many of you have already said
Blue- Cowboy Bebop
Greenbird- Cowboy Bebop (if that counts ^^; )
Tank- Cowboy Bebop
The Real Folk Blues- Cowboy Bebop

I also like
Obsession- .hack//SIGN
Ride on Shooting Star- Furi Kuri
Hiru no Tsuki- Outlaw Star
Tsuki no Ie- Outlaw Star
Through the Night- Outlaw Star
Mononoke Hime- Princess Mononoke
Kaze wa Mirai ni Fuku- Trigun

Not in any partically order that is - way to many of them and just a few that I can remember. That is, remember because I liked them and not because a certian someone kept humming them in class :P
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."

I like so many that I can't really decide. Lately I've been likeing the ening theme of millenium actress. I've considered my favorite to be the ending theme of yami no matsue but my opinion changes so often I can never settle on just one.

Though I tend to find many anime theme songs cheesy and annoying, I do really like Vision of Escaflowne's and Outlaw Star's opening theme songs!

:jump: YAY! Those two songs are great! I end up cruising AnimeNation for imported soundtracks whenever I hear a good tune from an anime series. I actually spent a few months emailing back and forth with someone from tRSI regarding Irresponsible Captain Tylor soundtracks, mainly to hear that enchanting "Strange Lover" theme with Azalyn and Tylor in the soldier recreation VR room.

I like the Trigun theme "H.T." cuz I can play it on guitar. Not quite as fast, though. But fast enough.

See, that's why I wish I had money (preferably in the form of a credit card, so that I could order awesome soundtracks online!)!

Freckles - Rurouni Kenshin opening Theme
Heart of Sword - Rurouni Kenshin ending Theme (though it sounds weird in English, if anybody wants the English lyrics I'll post them)
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

[Pink Floyd fan listening to Queen and hugging trees which is also known as taking care of God's creation with a pair of headphones on listening to Nightwish as loud as possible while writing a novel on a computer in the middle of a field filled with Wolves.]

Oh yeah, the FLCL soundtrack is awesome! I'm gonna get it sometime soon, when I have enough money. According to www.cdjapan.co.jp, it has:
1. Last Dinosaur (Off Vocal Version)
2. Ride On Shooting Star
3. Sad Sad Kiddie
4. Carnival (Off Vocal Version)
5. Runner's High -FLCL Version-
6. Instant Music
7. Stalker (Off Vocal Version)
8. Rever's Edge (B-6)
9. Stalker Goes To Babylon
10. One Life
11. Pain (A-7)
12. Kabalevsky
13. Hybrid Rainbow
14. Selfish (BB-6)
15. Pink (A-6)
16. Beautiful Morning With You (Off Vocal Version)
17. Sleepy Head (Off Vocal Version)
18. Bran-New Love Song
19. Come Down (Off Vocal Version)
20. Advice (FLCL Arrange Version)
21. Little Busters

Those are some...interesting song titles, but who cares, FLCL ROCKS!!!
My favorite op/ed songs would have to be Ride on Shooting Star (FLCL ending), Cha La Head Cha La (DBZ opening), Beautiful Alone (Weiss Kreuz ending, I think.), and Heart of Sword (Ruruoni Kenshin ending).
Think happy thoughts.
