The first half of The Nativity Story. I'll reserve judgment for now, but so far I'm enjoying the accents and overall realism of the movie, as well as the acting. Oh, and the three Wise Men are funny

i watched End of the Spear with my parents yesterday night. quite a touching story. i thought that Beyond the Gates of Splendor was better, though.

Recently went to see I am Legend and watched part of Pirates of the Caribbean at World End. Both are pretty good movies.

I picked a bunch of new movies up the other day.
Rob Zombies Halloween-Amazing twist on things. I really loved his rendition.
Young Guns- I had never seen this, fun western movie.
Secret Window- I looooved this. I had heard it was lame, but I really enjoyed it.
Enemy At The Gate-Another good one, I really liked this as well.
Desperado-Eh. Ok.

watched the Santa Claus 2 on TV sunday night... then Pirates of the Carribean: World's End about 1/2 a month ago.. pretty good... my friend thinks there will be a 4th one but idk. oh yeah my rents bought Pirates 3 for Christmas ... NEED TO SEE HOUSE IN JANUARY!!!!! if you have noooo idea what House is YOU NEED to google "House Frank Peretti & Ted Dekker" great book!! HOPEFULLY GREAT MOVIE... TRAILER WAS AWESOME!!!

i'm halfway through Internal Affairs (watching it right now actually). quite an impressively clever movie. i'm somewhat surprised it got an "R" rating. doesn't seem all that bad, other than some swearing here and there. but there's no sexual content, no crazy, gory violence, and even the swearing isn't the 60/70+ F-words that you would normally get from a typical "R" movie.

Yeah the american version of that i just watched. The departed (MSP correct me if wrong XD) Good movie but different from its conter part 245 f-bombs >_< yeah it was bad,

Are you kidding? That was one of the best parts of the film! The intention was to produce the feeling of going through the feeling of being pulled through space and time. And with 1968 technology and even for today's special effects, that moment was at least in my opinion, very stunning.

I've watched a heap of movies over my Christmas vacation:
All three Pirates of the Caribbean movies - The first one is amazing-of-course, the second not-so-great-but-better-than-the-first-time-I-watched-it, and the third almost-enough-to-redeem-the-series-but-not-quite.
Fantastic 4 - I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this movie, it being yet another in the long line of superhero movies that have come out in recent years. I really sympathized with Ben/The Thing, all throughout the movie. He really got the raw end of the deal.
Gladiator - Not half as gruesome as I'd heard; I enjoyed it more than most Roman movies (though that was probably partly because Joaquin Phoenix did a wonderful job as the antagonist). There were quite a few actors that I know from other movies - Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix, Djimon Hounsou, Richard Harris, and Spencer Treat Clark.
a bit of Transformers - Seemed like a mildly interesting movie, though it naturally appeals to boys more than girls.
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events - Just as good the second time around as the first. I just wish my mom had stuck around till the end.
I Am Legend - I really liked this movie, much more than any of the people who saw it with me. Okay, so it's not as good as I, Robot or The Pursuit of Happyness, but I'd say it was still a pretty good movie. Just contemplative enough to make you think, but not so contemplative that it put me to sleep (I thought Crime and Punishment was exciting, though, so take that with a grain of salt). I really liked how Will Smith's character was the only one there for the majority of the movie (barring all dogs and maniacal zombies). And it was somewhat frightening, but didn't seem like a horror movie. Except for the obvious CG and mandatory Will Smith action scenes, it was a lot like a Shyamalan movie, I think.

You can find out things about the past that you never knew. And from what you've learned, you may see some things differently in the present. You're the one that changes. Not the past.

I watched 3:10 to Yuma and it was easily the best western i have seen in a very long time. And i also watched the deleted scenes of Boondock saints and Man i love that movie, great wit, great dialogue, great story, great movie
