Anybody looking forward to 2008?

Talk about anything in here.

I am looking forward to the year 2007... but still it hasn't really hit home yet. I know that once 2008 arrives I will still write down my dates on my timecards as 2007 only to realize its 2008. This will continue until about... June of next year.

Call me crazy if you will, but I'm seriously starting to wonder if Microsoft might have even a minor loss of corporate hold on the computer market thanks to Vista. Ever since I discovered the heaven that is open-source, I've tried to find any way humanly possible to escape closed source.

Microsoft, while not an evil company, is doing the polar opposite of this. Which makes them HIGHLY irritating but not evil. Not yet

My crazy prediction for 08

Hatsune Miku become the first popular singing actress in Japan, who doesn't actually exist. Being the goddess she is I consider it that she does completely deserve this, but considering the unlikeliness, it's unlikely. XD

2007 was an excellent year. Sure, some projects crashed & burned, some vows were broken, some horrible words were uttered out, some hearts were broken and some moments resulted in close-to-nervous breakdowns but there were an equal (if not more) share of crazy cool madness, thrilling adventures, beautiful moments of peace, exciting moments of revelations and a lot of genuine good old laughter.

God has been good and faithful. :)

I know He will be too this 2008. It's my hope that in 2008, I will continue to journey towards making myself a better person and bringing blessings to others along the way. God help us all with what we have in mind because there are many things that just can't work without His grace or assistance. I definitely need His help since most of my goals require serious behavioral and mentality change. Habits must be broken or developed.

- Obtain more head knowledge in DOE & Advanced Statistics and languages, Japanese & Mandarin
- Develop a passion to pray, providing support in church activities, evangelize
- Complete more comic projects, keep KingdomCome going strong and encourage other writers/artists
- Establish a comprehensive financial plan

God help me do this, be with me when I fail.

I don't really think about the future. I just kinda blow through it like a tumble weed. (in other words, i don't really have anything to look foreward to untill it happens.) Go figure. :)

I'm listening to all the complaints on here about Vista and I'm thanking God that my dad said he wasn't going to update our computers to Vista. He says it sucks and that XP is what we're sticking with. Yeah!!

And...you have to file a FAFSA every year, huh? ...great. More paperwork, ehhhhhh. (Monsters, Inc. reference, btw.)

My hope for 2008 can be expressed by the song "With all I am" (Hillsong).

"into your hand
i commit again
with all I am
for you Lord

you hold my world
in the palm of your hand
and I'm yours forever

CHORUS
Jesus I believe in you
Jesus I belong to you
you're the reason that I live
the reason that I sing
with all I am

I'll walk with you
wherever you go
through tears and joy
I'll trust in you

and I will live
in all of your ways and
your promises forever

CHORUS

I will worship I will worship you forever"

I pray that I can be faithful and grow as I never have before in 2008. This is my biggest goal. Also for a clear direction as to what exactly I need to be doing when I finish my studies.
I don't know what broke to make you like this, but I must be broken too if I'm standing here praising your destructiveness. -Rock (Black Lagoon)

Well so far '08 has been rather interesting when it comes to the Presidential race.I mean who'd a thought that Obama and Huckabee would be where they are now when this all began?

Aside from that not much seems to be happening right now.

This year is turning out rather good so far. I've had deep triggers, as to be expected. But I have not given in, so, praise the Lord! :)
