But seriously, if you get offended over "weird" stereotypes, you need to get out more often.
I'm weird...I've been called that to my face and behind my back.

Oh and Koreans are weird. All they do is play Starcraft, Counter-Strike, Warcraft, and eat nothing but Kimchi and Rice all the time.

Your just realizing this?
However I would like to point out....a lot of people around the world think we are weird too XD

You guys are getting awfully defensive though. I'm sure if I started a "Koreans are weird" thread, no one would say much. We are weird though. Why are most generic mmorpgs Korean? lol.
Gabriel 9.0 wrote:I heard that Koreans did that, and don't really play Console games due to some bad history with China and Japan, I think.

See now YOU are the one stereotyping! But yeah, I was just being sarcastic with my previous post.

Of course, I still think Cradle robbing is gross, but maybe that's my age... As those girls get older, there seems to be less of a gap... I mean, there's an almost 8 year gap between me and the youngest of the "legal" crowd, and I would have shuddered at thinking of that much of an age gap a couple years ago... Considering most girls want older men, and I have a baby face and not much life experience outside of the abnormal (Missions stuff, for instance) I, as a begger, may not be capable of becoming a chooser.
Gabriel 9.0 wrote:Well age 18 is near the age of accountability in the Bible according to Exodus 30:14 and Numbers 14:29.
I myself felt like a adult at age 18.
Age 13-17, is just not a good time to be getting married, given that a person hasn't even continued to live their childhood along with it the whole thing being odd.
Even when one becomes a adult, its best to wait on God for that.
Those verses have literally nothing to do with sex or marriage and therefore are inapplicable to such.
Good for you. Most people don't, hence why you hear so many people say "I don't feel any different now that I'm x." Regardless of whether you feel like it or not, it still doesn't make anything unbelievable happen to your body or mind that suddenly makes you an adult. It's still just an arbitrary age created by lawmakers.
It's not odd at all. As Etoh stated, the concept of 18 being legal is actually very recent. This is why you think it's not a good time to be married, and why you think it's odd. It isn't odd or not a good time, it's just how society has influenced you. If you were brought up in say, the Middle East, you'd think the concept of women wearing a tank top and shorts would be horrendously evil. It isn't, of course, it's just how where you were raised affects your judgment of things. Same with teenagers getting married.
What's funny is in this whole conversation you're acting like 18 magically turns you into an adult. Lemme ask you this question. If 18 is when someone becomes an adult, then why do women gain the ability to become pregnant (and men the ability to impregnate) around 12 or 13? Do you think God made a mistake in how he created our bodies? I tell you my friend, God makes no mistakes. While I'm not endorsing people getting married and having children that young (especially not in this country), I am not condemning it either.
