What's your take on Kanon 2006?

I know the second series of Kanon comes out on New Year's Day. I saw all 24 episodes subbed and will watch it dubbed. Despite it's based on an H-Game, it's emotionally powerful as well. I cried a few times. I love this anime. The reason why Yuuichi, our hero, looks like Haruhi Suzumiya's Kyon is because of the following:
both were made by Kyoto Animation
both were voiced by the same actor

I personally think Chris Patton will do a very good job as Yuuichi.

Uh, why does it matter that anime was based on an H game. There are a good number of animes out there that were based on H games before?

I will watch it, when I get a chance and I do like the cast that they pick out for the dub.

So that people who do research on it out of curiousity don't suddenly find themselves going to site with 'unexpected' art.

I mean why does it hurt the anime, if it was base off a H game as what the person said.

That is what they are talking about, the anime has nothing to do with the game, so the view of it shouldn't matter about the anime since it has nothing to do with the game.

I have absolutely no intention of watching the dub of Kanon. I've been a fan since the original Kanon, and I'm not about to let ADV ruin my view of Kanon.

After the great job he did in Kanon, the Kyon-clone can show up in any show he wants to. Now if only the female characters were as interesting...

I loved it! I had wanted to see the original Kanon, but never got the chance. I have it on good authority, however, that this one was much better. It was certainly pretty to look at!

And I actually picked up on the Kyon-Yuuichi thing, so yay! Glad to know I wasn't crazy or anything. My favorite part is when he mocks Ayu XD

The original anime adaptation sucked bad. So yeah.
