My Dad!
Okay I've kept this to myself for long enough....I need some prayer please please please I need some prayer for my father, I can't tell you the whole story but I can say he is having surgery on the 5th of december and I really could use some prayers, I'm slowly breaking down. I can't tell you why He's having surgery except the fact that it is a family issue and eventually I will probably tell but, right now just some prayer that me and my mom can stay strong and my dad makes it through surgery alright. Please and thank you.
Footprints in the sand by Carolyn Joyce Carty
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of foot prints in the sand: one belonging to him the other to the lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the foot prints in the sand.
He noticed that name times along the path of his life there was only one set o footprints.
He also noticed that it was at the lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the lord about it:
"lord, you said once i decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But i have noticed during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of foot prints. I dont understand why when i needed you most you would leave me."
The lord replied:
"My son, my precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that i carried you."

Well so far as we know...my dad went through surgery without a problem...it was a lot better then what we expected....but there is still a possibility of something else happening to my dad later on after christmas, but we'll have to wait and see about that one. Well thanks for the prayers it really helped a whole lot!

Okay I need to update this now that I know what's gonna happen...after the first of January my dad is going to have to go to another hospital farther away from where we live and have radiation done....also there is also gonna be so chemo done for my dad....so that's possibly 3 months without him being home...me and my family are suffering right now cause we really don't have the money to pay for all this, and christmas is gonna be severly streched...cause my money is going to pay for a hospital stay....I don't know what to do this year...I feel lost and helpless...there isn't anything I can do to help my dad....all I can do is sit back and watch him suffer....and that hurts me inside....Well prayer would be deeply appreciated! Please.
