The one thing the distruction by fire in Cal will do is lead to is more distruction when the rains begin to fall. Landslides, flashfloods, and just flooding.
Maybe more sinkholes will form somewhere and a neighborhood will disappear.
The other thing will be if people will beable to rebuild and get their lives back together.
The things they lost, family memories and maybe pets.

the seasons in CA are as follows (according to my dad who was a Sherriff deputy in L.A.) First you have the riot season, then it gets too hot to riot so next is the fire season, then come the rains signalling the beginning of the flood season, and then lastly there is the earthquake season. So as i've said before, here's to hoping that this season will end soon,...or that CA gets regular old seasons like the rest of us.

Yeah, I would compare it to the fires of 2003, and I honestly don't remember any other fires I would compare it too. Disasterwise, definately can be compared to Katrina.

huh, that smoke picture looks prety much how it was up here when the fire was burning across the way from us. The sun and everything. Yeah, we'd wake up to the smoke in our house. wasn't fun. =_=; Thank God that they finally got everything out. We were very lucky that all that burned up here was land and ranches and no animals or people were hurt. I will continue to pray for the CA fire situation.
