Postby tokiklok » Thu Oct 25, 2007 11:46 pm

:D i have no clue what i'll be doing on Halloween.Costume wise, i'll be Sharon Osbourne and seppu will be Ozzy, we hung up this giant spider in the tree and it kept scaring seppus mom and his cousin.

so what will you people be dressing up as, and be doing for this random celebration of make believe?

That's Wednesday, right? I'll be in class. After that, I'll be wearing my kilt.

I'll be wearing my yukata to class for extra credit...and then going to church for a vigil Mass (most likely not in a yukata) because November 1 (All Saints' Day) is a Holy Day of Obligation.

I don't really "celebrate" Halloween anymore, but since I need the extra credit, I'm dressing up anyways. Besides, there were people dressing up like pirates on "Talk Like a Pirate Day."

I don't celebrate it. Just not for me.
Now I WILL dress up if it's like Hallow-lujah. (Church Halloween. Halloween/Hallelujah...yeah.)
Or if it's a school day and I just want to. (But people tend to stare...I don't care, though!)
Never done it. Ever. Don't feel like I've had anything missing, so I didn't do it.

I'm hoping I can pull this off....it's something I've always wanted to do to keep tricker treaters away from my place (or at least to scare them). I'm baisically going to go through my entire soundtrack collection, make a list of the creepiest and darker tracks, put them on a cd, put a boombox near the porch window and let it play all night long.......Not that I have anything against tricker treaters or anything.....It's just something I've been thinking about doing for a while now.....for fun of course...........though, I have a sinking feeling that it might attract triker-treaters to the house instead of scaring them away......

Oh, yeah. I'd say you'll double or triple your customer base with that.

And AsianBlossom? You would fit right in in our church in the yukata. We have people show up in costume on Halloween all the time. Generally the non-scary, non gothy costumes of course.

Halloween is kind of a big holiday amongst my friends and I. Last night we all went to Halloween Haunt at Knott's Berry Farm. Today we will be carving pumpkins and watching the Invader Zim Halloween special, and next Friday we'll have a costume party.

I love Halloween. I think that while it may not be the most meaningful holiday, it's certainly the most fun.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."

This is going to be epic... or somewhat less than.

Yes! Vash with soul!

I do the same thing at work--except I take calls from dummies who don't know how to turn their phone off or read the freaking instruction manual!

I may invest in a Naruto headband and rock that at work for a while, but other than that, nothing much. I think I have a one-on-one meeting scheduled with my manager that night. Oy.

I'll be playing Twilight Princess! WooT! I won't be getting any trick-or-treaters. I live on a private drive and my house is on a steep hill that isn't fun to walk up. Besides, there aren't that many kids on my street.

YEEEAH! <3 Black Vash!

I'll be using Halloween as a masterful excuse to dress up as the dude in my avatar/sig (Kazu from Air Gear) and use my rollerblades to get from class to class while hoping campus security does not get angry with me. I'll probably sit around otherwise, goof off, eat candy corn, and gear up for NaNoWriMo, which starts at midnight. d(*A*b )

I don't have anything in particular planned for Halloween. I think for once I'll stay at home and give away candy.

Or I can throw together some ad hoc costume and freak people out.

I'll be helping out with my church's outdoor carnival thing, so I don't know if I'll actually dress up or not.

If I do, then it'll be as Dr. Forrester, the mad scientist from Mystery Science Theater 3000.
