Added: 2 Fires in San Bernardino Mountains where my parents live, and one just east of where K. Ayato lives. My parents are under mandatory evac.

The fire in my parents area is burning houses, if the reports are to be believed, less than a 5 minute drive from their house, and the area affected contains the house of CAA member Evangeline San. If reports are correct it is likely that their house is quite possibly already burned. Unless the weather changes my parents will probably lose their house too.

Wow, I am sorry to hear this. I don't think words can show anything, but I am praying. I am getting friends I know in person to pray too... I am trying to get in contact with family I have over there, around 7 family members very close to the area, I am hoping they are not gonna be affected by this, but I dunno yet. I am praying for others from CAA and everyone else involved in this.

ack! more fires. =_= well I grew up in LA so I know what you guys are talking about. My dad was a deputy in the LA sherrifs dept. He always said that people say California doesn't have seasons...that's when he says there's the riot season, fire season, the flood season, and earthquake season. Here's hoping this "season" ends soon and that everyone will be safe. Will be praying, most definitely.

This fire has been nuts. It doubled in size last night, and appears to be following the same trend tonight. I'll be keeping all my fellow So California CAAers in prayer.

God is in Control though and I know something positive will come out of this...disaster.
Lord, please be with our fellow CAA members and their families, I know that whatever happens you will be there to confort and protect them. Father, there is a reason for this happening and I pray that soemthing good will come out of it. Your will be done, Father. Be with these families of California tonight, and the firefighters that are working so very hard, like the true heros that they are to protect the citizens of Southern California. Father, if it's your will, please extinguish these flames soon.

Thanks for all the prayers. So far the wind has died down and the power has returned to my home. I didn't see any sign of smoke or flames coming from the fire located in the city next door to where I live, (and it was also pretty dark), but I'm hoping it's under control.

It seems like the fire has, for the moment, missed my town, but it could just as easily swing back around or up the hill and get into it still, since it has 0% containment.

Thankfully the San Diego fire has missed where my uncle and his family live. Please keep them in prayer and also pray for my friends who live in and near the affected areas.
