Economics, only because our teacher was a awesome guy that quoted Homestar Runner and Young Frankenstein in class regularly (and only two of us actually got any of it).

XDD That IS awesome. I had a cool Econ. teacher this past year, too, though he never quoted Homestar Runner or anything like that. XD That class came surprisingly easy to me, though; I had forgotten about it when I last posted here, as it only lasted for one semester (Gov't being the class before that, which was also a good class).

My favorite class in high school was Chemistry. My teacher was awesome, plus I was good at it, which always makes a class more likable, lol. While it was sometimes stressful because it was hard, I also enjoyed the challenge, and I really thought the class was pretty fascinating too. There's so much detail in the world, it's cool to think about how amazing God is that he designed all of it.
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

I would say history and english, though history takes top honors for interesting and quirky teachers, one of which was a jet pilot in the cold war. Science was fun up to a point but my mathematic deficiancies have rendered it to a lower status on the totem pole.

Band would be my other default answer, but that was kinda a given since I like music a lot.

My Precalc and Algebra 2 teacher always told us perverted jokes and made in fun of us. He'd also randomly talk in a falsetto voice or act gay.

Best teacher ever. Seriously.

You got to study epistemology? I am jealous. Not that my brains were working well enough in high school to study that. But still ... I would have liked to think I had the option, at least. :)

My favourite subjects:

Maths, Japanese, Astronomy.

I think though when it comes down to it it isn't so much the SUBJECT as the
TEACHER(S) that are what made any class fun or memorable.A good teacher can make the most boring material exciting which is why we may think of those classes as our favorites.:thumb:

Well when I was in high school from 1970 to 1973 my school had a volcational wing where there was computer, nursing, automotives, welding, retail, printing and other classes.
The class I was in for three years and three class periods a day was
Volcational Foods.
Our teacher had been a Marine in WW II and flew in a three man bomber before he was transfered to the kitchen operations. He learn alot from being involved there and when he left in 1963 he went to culinary schools around the country to learn the different ways of cooking, baking and cake decorating and then became a teacher in our school system.
We learn everything about keeping things clean to how to prepare a meal for many people.
We would prepare meals once a week for the treachers and our students in our class so we could skip the school's cafeteria food. The regular class room was our serving area and we had a commerical size kitchen to work in.
I even got to be in part of a video about the importance of volcational classes cutting up a cabbage.
I did work in the kitchens of a night club and a Air Force Officers Club.
The night club I ended up cleaning dishes. The officers club I started as a cooks helper but they moved me to Kitchen Police which meant cleaning or setting up and braking down a serving line I was asignned to.
But things changed and I moved on to other things after seven years of that but still think about what I learned and everyone I knew from that.

You'll need a great deal more than that in many university programs (and not just the purely technical ones either). It's one of the most important subjects you can take.

Anyways, my own favourite classes were:
O.A.C Chemistry
Gr 12. Geology
O.A.C Modern Western Civilization
O.A.C World Issues
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

Physics. Although my most challenging class (and the one that taught me the most) was AP European History.

In Junior High our band teacher had a cartoon up in the band room,it showed a forlorned looking football jock looking on as one of the
guys in the band walked by with a girl on each arm.
It was really funny.

Math, despite the fact that half of the teachers were jerks. Actually, though, my favorite part of high school was hearing the bell ring at the end of the school day. High school in my day had more to do with adolescent day care than education, and I was bored, bored, bored.
