troubles I'm going through...

Postby supa dupa ninja » Fri Mar 12, 2004 2:15 am

this is the first time (virtual and litteral) I asked people to pray for me...
I'm having a nervous break down as of the moment, as off matters I can't cope with. I'm really depressed and losing the will to live... I'm gonna go see a psychiatrist this 15th and try to find the roots of my problems.
pray for me that I may find the courage to face my problems and the psychiatrist himself... thanks a bunch!

Ninja, never, never, NEVER lose the desire to live! :wow!: God had a plan for you and He loves you no matter what! Have you ever heard the verse "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, Plans to give you hope and a future."

I'll be praying, and good luck.

A good motto to have: Suicide is the wimpy way out. (Or at least that worked for me.)

I will pray for you, Ninja, and that whatever ails you is fixed with the utmost swiftness. Hang in there! *~_~*

Since I'm expierencing almost the same thing and have been suicidal, I know how you feel. literally. And let me tell you what the almighty Touga-sama told me when I wanted to die. He said, " Crash, suicide brings on a whole new world of pain. There are people around you who would cry if you're gone, including me. If you can't live for yourself, live for those people." He told me that and it made me realize that killing myself would be selfish. God has a plan for you. If you're suppossed to be dead, then God would've kille you. Stay alive, for Him, for me, and for those who love you and soon you'll find reason to live for yourself. you're in my prayers.
* suddenly the entire Computer Imagery Class stands behind Angel and gawks at the fact she can type faster with one finger than they can with two hands* I feel...very...um...observed? Well, bye! And consider the wonders God has done and will do in your life.

Life comes from God and despite the pain, suffering, and the general sense of 'suckiness' we sometimes get, God allows us to feel these things sometimes so He can show us what true consolation is...Ill pray for you as I know several people who have had difficulties in grasping the meaning and foundations for their lives, including myself

First off, I will pray for you. Next, remember that you never have to cope alone. God is always there with you, aproach every thing you do with God attached to your shoulder lifting you up (because that is where he is). Also, its good to share your concerns, sadness, and joys with your brothers/sisters in prayer. The Bible says that, "where there are 2 or more gathered, there I am also." Always turn to God first, so many times we try and solve our problems on our own, then when all seams lost or we fail, we run to God and lovingly takes us back. Even in seamingly simple things, turn to God first. He likes to know that we trust him with EVERYTHING, even our lives now, not just when we die. Like Angel said, take great joy in knowing that God made you for a reason.

Another thing, I hope the psych you are going to is a Christian. Worldly wisdom may sound good, but its like bitter fruit in Gods mouth. Our world wants us to believe that we can do anything if we just believe in our selves, (Slogans like, just doit, or if you just believe in your self) but in truth we can do nothing with out God. Any thing we do with out God, the Bible says, is like filthy rags (spacificaly talking about the ones that a woman would use durring a particular time of the month).

In short, (I guess its a little late for short) I know I dont know what this situation is but I know God would never want you to end your life. He also doesnt like to see you struggle, and be in pain. Give God ALL your load, and he will cary it, and you as well.

I know Im not a psych but I do love Christ and I love you as a brother in Christ, so if you ever want to talk, Im good at listening. (I guess that would be reading)
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

In addition to seeing the psychiatrist I would recommend you try to attend daily mass if your schedule allows it and go to confession as soon as possible. Nothing helps like the sacraments of healing and the love of Christ that is present in the mass.
