What's your favorite salad dressing?

Postby ADXC » Sun Aug 12, 2007 5:56 pm

Ok yes so whats you favorite dressing that you put on your salad to give it that extra kick it needs for truly great flavor?

My top two are:

1. Ceasar Parmesan ( My favorite)

2. Ranch dressing

So what are you yours?

(And mods I have done a search and have not found any topic like this so I did my reasearch before hand.)

My all-time favorite salad dressing is Newman's Own Homestyle Italian. Italian dressing is my favorite type of dressing in general, and the Newman's Own brand is the best.

I am also partial to asian ginger dressing (Makoto is good, and the gourmet brands are better) and caesar dressing.

I can't stand ranch, bleu cheese, or french dressing.

I like Thousand Island and Ranch, but those are the only two I've had since I don't eat much salad.

I opened my refridgerator and saw an Italian dressing!

Actually, I'm not a big fan of salad dressings; but I've recently decided that I like the Asian sesame flavor. ^_^

I prefer it without.

Italian. Blue cheese is also excellent sometimes. I like olive oil and vinegar, too. Nice and classic.

My tastes in terms of salad dressings tend to be sweet. I like vidalia onion, honey mustard, and that great sesame-ginger dressing you get on salads at Japanese restaurants. And when I was a lot younger, Catalina used to be my favorite.

But this doesn't mean I don't occassionally enjoy some veggies with a good ranch...mmm...

EDIT: Shoot! I forgot Caesar. Thanks Zilch!

Ranch and ceasar, hands down, but I do like the occasional smattering of Italian.

Honey mustard, thousand island, raspberry vinaigrette, vidalia onion, sesame- ginger, cucumber wasabi and blue cheese salad dressing

I always reject ranch, italian and caesar. Especially if they're by Kraft. *has a personal grudge against said company*

Ranch was my favorite for a long time, but then I started liking Italian. Then I discovered balsamic vinagrette, and now that's definitely my favorite.

For salads

ranch or creamy italian

For dipping

Blue cheese for Chicken wings and honey mustard for chicken strips

I use italian dressing as a marinade and grill chicken that has been marinaded in italian dressing over night is great.

I put french catalina on my Arby's roat beef sandwich.
