Straylight (fka DJnoz) is dealing with personal issues and is on an indefinite leave of absence, though we've been in some contact with him since. Lightbringer has always been quite the lurker and when he is on he spends most his time lurking the RPGs.

Though he hasn't posted in over four months he has logged on some. However, he is one moderator I have little contact with, so I can't do much in the way of giving an explanation. Mithrandir is probably the most likely person to know more.

I'm an oldie.

I had another account, I had it shut down then I came back. Even this, my rejuvenated account, is relatively old.

Whoever remembers my very first handle here is old.

*throws up the horns* Oldbie number 85 reporting.

You might remember my plays a few years back. Used to be the talk of the town, but these days you'll find me lurking and posting a bit on the music and gaming boards. I've been here since the MSN boards (now THAT'S oldbieism), used to be Vash a loooooong time ago.

And Ingemar? I remember Cephas.

Saint Peter...and I believe it was the Passion of the Christ that inspired you to change to Cephas.

I'm an oldie (more or less) who has been gone for a while; in fact, I just logged on today for the first time in months and saw this thread. I haven't posted anything in almost two years.

When I first found the CAA, I was excited to find a group of Christians who shared my interest in anime. Over time, I get the feeling that I was too old for the CAA, whose membership seemed to be getting younger and younger every day. Life was also more busy, so I didn't have the time to adequately address interesting topics.

It's nice to see a lot of familiar faces still around after so long. I may stick around this time...

Anyway, nice to see you back! I remember your "face."

Cap'n Nick was originally Cap'n Crackk. cbwing0 is correct. And

It has been some time. Good to see you back.

cbwing0 wrote:Over time, I get the feeling that I was too old for the CAA, whose membership seemed to be getting younger and younger every day.

My personal experience is that the average age of the members involved in discussion varies immensely based on what forums you visit. That may or may not be helpful to you, though I hope it is the former. Just to say that there are a fair number of 20-somethings around.

Perhaps it is time for another age demographics thread? I've been mildly curious about that, myself.

I'm kinda an oldie... I wasn't ever that active on the general board though. I stuck to the goof off more than not. Bishie thread and Jrock thread mostly. Now I'm mostly in the RP section so I'm not technically lurking... you just never see me. <.<

Let's see... does anyone else remember that Bishie tournament? I got here at the tail end when Goku and Kenshin were duking it out for the top spot.

Anyone older than cbwing0 is entitled to smack our good old friend, especially those who were around for the 2nd CAA Tournament. *mob surrounds cbwing0....the following actions are not described due to its violent nature*

Welcome back, cbwing0. I'm still around although I'm plagued by your reason No. 2) and lurk more often now.

I wonder if that 2nd CAA Tournament thread is still around (hopefully it hasn't been deleted). Those were great times. XDDD

Ingemar wrote: Cap'n Nick was originally Cap'n Crack.

Oh that was a great time too. Half the board found that nickname highly questionable and eyed him suspiciously while the other half found it amusing and grinned like fools (me included). XD

Vernhal wrote: Anyone remember Golden_griff... she did art. I haven't seen her around in a LONG time! Where did she go?

She is more active at Deviantart and she still does art (duh). I've been in communication with her via email. She's ok, just busy. ^__^

Erm.....*points at attachments* I think I still have the voting order and some of the banners. Wait a minute, I think I even did the vote counting. Good griefy.....wow, it's been a while alright. It was another pointless yet fun tournament. My choice won in the end. XDD

The REDUX version is available in the Writing forum. Unfortunately, the pure unadultered messed-with-by-everyone-and-their-brother version has gone the way of the dodo.

I eye'd him suspiciously while grinning like a fool. But then, "Like a fool" can often follow descriptions of me.
