AMV coverage on NPR news

Postby Mr. SmartyPants » Thu Aug 02, 2007 10:20 am

Seems like NPR got some coverage on AMVs as well as the AMV contest during Otakon. After listening to it I must say that what I heard was pretty interesting. It's not that long, so if you want to listen go right ahead.

I knew most of those artists, and I must say, they sounded exactly like I thought they would.

I posted this in the Anime Thread a day or two ago, but I don't think anybody looked into it XD

Either way, I thought it was really interesting (I'm somewhat of a fan of NPR XD)

But yes, major props to NPR. I think they covered the whole thing well (Unlike some other news stations that would probably botch it and make us look bad XD).

Merged. It reads a bit odd, but... eh.

My favorite part was when the newscaster said "his kind." But yes, NPR is good and that's a better treatment than one can typically expect.
