If the recent episodes of the TV series are any indication of what the movie will be like, then no, it won't be good.
Man, Simpsons was my favorite TV show back in the day...now it's so terrible. :/

animedude90 wrote:Yep I saw the movie today, but I didn't stay to the very ending. This movie sure earned its PG-13 rating because there were quite a few bits that I found to be questionable and I won't go into details of what they were.

The latter part wasn't very funny and is only notable in that Maggie says her first word: "sequel?"
Vaguely on that subject... where was Sideshow Bob? He's the only major character I never saw.
Nate wrote:There was one other thing, at the VERY end of the credits you see the Pimple-Faced Kid sweeping up the floors muttering about "Being assistant manager isn't all it's cracked up to be," and then exits to the side, reenters and says, "I went through four years of film school for this?"
I thought it was funny, at least.
Nate wrote:Maybe still in prison? I'm not sure. Of course, Sideshow Bob being in the movie would have been dependent on Kelsey Grammer being able to voice...they may have written a part for him just in case, but he may have been unavailable for whatever reason.
