Girls - How long is your hair?

Became curious to ask my CAA sisters. "How long is your hair?"

Read thorough the other 2 Hair length threads, (one was 11 pages & yes I read through every post), Don't really want to recover all the "whys of long / short", "its ok either way" and a "debate on if should be long / short".

This thread is NOT about those things. So please "Ma'am, Just the Facts."

Hair care, reference links & length claifications are fine. Thanks for the help!

PS. Believe the guys had an informal poll of this nature already. But if not, feel free to start your own thread.

A little past my waist now, and I'm not cutting it for another two years. When I do, though, I think it will be boy-short. Like Haruhi from Ouran-ish length (certainly not buzzed or anything.) I've never done that before, so I kind of want to try it. Though there have been requests for a Rukia-style.

My hair's nappy so if I leave it alone it hangs around my ears and the back of my upper neck, but if I stretch it out it can go a little past my shoulders

My hair is shoulder length with shortish bangs, and I'm gonna let it grow some more before I finally decide to do something with it.

So far looks like Short & Shoulder length hair is more popluar, but longer hair has a good share.

Is there some place between Mid Back and Above the Hip? Mine is more like...right above the waist...just barely...probably at the waist if it's wet.

For the last 19 years, it was

At first I was really scared to get it that short, but it's SO much better now. I think it's much more flattering and mature.

Above the hip for me~But I will have to cut at least 3 inches off soon e.e and I'm dreading it. But it must be done!

Sorry 'bout that. Now that you said that, should've said "around the waist" instead of "mid back". The word waist was just not coming into my head for some weird reason when filling out the poll.

My hair is at my mid back, some in the front to much shoter though. I don't plan on cuting it ever!!! I love my hair long.

Everyone has a genetically pre-determined maximum hair length. It has to do with hair follicle cycles and, well, it would take a scientist to explain it.

I personally wish my growth cycle was only around six months instead of, well, I've never let it grow until it stopped, so I have no idea how long it is. It's longer than a year though. Of course, I also wish the follicles on my forehead would stop copping out. My forehead is growing a little bit each year.

The longest layer is to my elbows, the shortest is at my chin. I have a load of thick curly hair. The nice thing though is its wash and wear; I haven't combed or blow dryed it in years and people love my hair. The down side is I can clog a shower drain three days.

I have shoulder length hair and I hate it T.T I think it is just because I have gazzillions of layers, but I can't go in public without straightening it. If I don't fix it it looks terrible. I'm gonna grow it long...and maybe one day find a super short style that is easier to handle.
