What do you prefer to be called on CAA?

Talk about anything in here.

Call me James. Or Etoh. Etoh is my username, I suppose. But if you're in to the whole "real names" thing, just call me James. ^-^

Crimmy or Crim. Anything else is unacceptable and you will be set aflame if you call me Ryu.

Harsh, I know. That's how my cookie crumbles though.

Darkelf and Elfy I guess. That's what people call me.

Later: and Elfy-chan

You may call me Nightshade... or X... or any variant of my name that you wish. Whichever is fine. Those who know me better usually call me by my real name... and they may use whichever variant of that name that they wish, except for one.

Those who wish to know more, of course, are permitted to ask what they wish.

I prefer to be called "Oh, radiant and dazzling one, Osaka empress of the Universe." However, since that's quite a mouthful and can really be a cumbersome thing to blurt out when I accidentally set myself on fire making dinner, I settle for Osaka.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

You just call me AD90, and no this is not a year. And its even gramatically correct as well. Remember BC goes after the year date, but with AD you put it before the year.

"UC" seems to have stuck and I have no real objections. Variations on my username are fine as well, so long as they make sense. Certain individuals are permitted to call me by the names of various countries and I may answer to "Clive Staples."

All I ask is that those that know my real name reserve it for real life situations. Internet is one thing, life another. My tendency is to use everyone's usernames regardless of if I know their real names, simply because it makes more sense to me.

I have been called many versions of my user name. Golden and goldie are the ones I like the best, but there's also GS, spiney, spines, spine, gold, or GP(not sure where this one came from). Or, if you know me, you can call me by my real name. :D

I'm with UC on the use of RL names. If you're talking to me online, it's best to address me by some form of my username. Unlike Kaemmerite, I like my username.

Offline, of course, you can use my offline name, if you know it, but let's not go revealing one another's secret identities too hastily. I mean, just because I happen to know that Myoti is really Peter Parker doesn't mean that I have to go blurting it out all over the Internet where just anybody can see.

I get called Eric or Fred, and they both work. Eric's the real name, Fred is the nickname I was called in school, which happens to be derived from my real surname.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He cause His face to shine upon you.
May He lift up His countenance and grant you peace.

EricTheFred: Vikings are always a valid answer.

Then it's nickname etymology time...
UC -> US (which makes sense, given it's something you'd type a lot)
US -> CS (I don't think anyone accidentally did this, but it was only one letter different and at least mildly amusing)
