My life as a juggler...

Postby Danderson » Tue Jul 10, 2007 10:14 am

This summer I'm working on three projects at the same time, and all of them have to do with Video Editing...

The 1st project is finishing a quick highlight reel for our churches Vacation Bible School by the end of this week...

2nd project: I'm finally finishing up shooting for an amuature movie I've been making with a bunch of friends. But becuase some of these friends are leaving for college at the end of July/beginning of August, I have to finish up their scenes within these next week and a half (I can't work on it the third week of July, becuase I'll be going to a week-long High School Leadership Training seminar in S. Carolina)...

And finally the third project is a 30-min. documentary that I have to complete by the end of August...and I still haven't captured any footage to my computer yet...

The reason for that is that the computer's just giving me a lot of trouble....

So, baisically I'm asking for prayer, that God will give me strength and perserverance through this time....don't get me wrong....I love this type of work, but when things aren't working out it's real easy to get stressed...Please pray that I'll finish these projects the way he'd want me to finish them.

Thanks...

Oh yes, thats quite alot of stuff God has dished out on your plate. But always remember God will never give you more than you can handle! Ive got through alot of stuff that I didn't think Id be able to accomplish. In the words of Tony Little, "You can do it!"(Who you probably don't even know, just words of encouragement.) I'll be praying for you as well.

Footprints in the sand by Carolyn Joyce Carty

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the lord.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of foot prints in the sand: one belonging to him the other to the lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the foot prints in the sand.

He noticed that name times along the path of his life there was only one set o footprints.

He also noticed that it was at the lowest and saddest times of his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the lord about it:

"lord, you said once i decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But i have noticed during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of foot prints. I dont understand why when i needed you most you would leave me."

The lord replied:

"My son, my precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that i carried you."

Great news update:....
The documentary is finally finished and in the bag....it was kind've bittersweet to finish it like this, mainly becuase I've done video work with them since they began in 2005 and this is kind've my last project for them....But anyways thanks for the prayers guys....
Now onto the last project, which will no doubt be done in winter....
PS: Forgot to mention, God diserves all the credit for this one....for without Him to motivate me, it might have looked alot different then it did, but it turned out better then I could've imagined.....Again It was all Him.....

Quick prayer request:

This afternoon I will be shooting the final scene of a movie I've been working on and it's probably going to be the most difficult of all with just the amount of needs to be done....Baiscally I have two and half hours to work and I'm already freaking out about how it's supposed turn out......I'll explain later....

Just pray that God would have his hand on myself, my (very small) crew, and the actors (who are baisically friends who don't do pro acting, which might make this scene more difficult).....That everything would turn out for his glory......Thanks

Having helped out on little film projects like this, I can really appreciate the kind of stress you're dealing with right now. I'll be praying.
