Before you get to the main menu, there's a bunch of previews that play and when you try to fast-forward through them, or hit the "Menu" button to skip them, nothing happens!
The DVD I'm refering to in particular is Vol.1 of "Spiral" but I've also noticed this on just about every "Case Closed" DVD I've gotten my hands on! It's getting annoying! Anyone else notices this?

Believe, its just not one company that has this set up.

Mr. SmartyPants wrote:I don't see why everybody is really complaining. I mean, it even occurs with nearly every DVD I own. Whether it be Star Wars, The Prestige, an anime DVD, or whatever. DVD Publishers need to make money too. Whether or not their methods actually boost sales or not is another question.
Don't like it? Go to the kitchen and fix a snack while the previews are playing. Or hit Fast Forward for a little bit. Frankly, I don't see the point in why people get upset over something incredibly insignificant and trivial, lol.

My point is that some FUNimation DVD's don't even allow you to fast-forward through them. They just play on the screen without interruption.
