Bye Bob! Hope everything works out for you! If no one else does, I'll miss your creative presence. I'll pray for you whenever I remember, because I'm human and forgetful.

*gives Bob a hug* I will miss you, my friend.

*gives Cephas hug* Miss you too, buddy.

I wish you both the best! :)

Wow guys, I'll miss your great contribution to our little web community. Hope the best in your spiritual battles, and I'll pray for you both. Computer screens are never a substitute for flesh and blood, and I know everybody needs people in their lives. Maybe sometime soon you'll find a Christian that loves anime, Bob. Well, I guess that's it.

Hey, Bob... I understand why you're leaving. I've had to do that myself in the past, on other Christian BBs. Perhaps after a time of spiritual cleansing and renewal, God will lead you back to us. I hope so.

You've been one of my favorite members to read. I wish you all the best, you and Cephas both. Walk with God, my friends.

I'm somewhat surprised, but I can understand your motivation. The motivation I have difficult understanding is why I post here, when you probably won't see this. Unless, of course, you return, which I do hope will happen. For now, howerever, regardless of logic, farewell.

Of course, there is still Full Sail to discuss. I may yet e-mail you.

But I will see you one of these days (both Bob and Cephas), on this Earth or in Heaven.

To me, it does not feel like this place is falling apart at all. I remember when there were almost no members with greater than 1000 posts. We may have just lost three, but we've gained more than that. These numbers continue to surprise me. Though there are moments of sorrow, CAA is still growing.

Cephas-kun!!.....Actually, I never got used to that name. I always thought of you as St. Pete. I even named a Peter in my class after you. So everyday, I'm like "Hey St. Pete!". ^_^ Anyways, I was majorly sad that I never got to say goodbye to you. And now I can. Goodbye Cephas-kun. Take care. I hope you can get what you seek. And maybe you will choose to come back some day. ^_^ I'll never forget you. Bye!! *huggie* Darn, I'm gonna get all...teary eyed..with all of these people leaving...

Hey, Cephas..I'd be honored if you read an critiqued my play, as the world..err, computer, turns. I'm only on act one, and I'm still using a book for instead of a script form, but I'd like you to critique it anyway....

Bob and Cephas: I admire you both for making the difficult decisions that you have had to make. I thank God that you are taking some time off to get closer to Him and to grow in maturity and self-control. Perhaps you will come back, and perhaps not, but I know that if God does lead you to come back, you will be welcomed with open arms. Regardless, thank you for all of your insightful and witty remarks.

We are all sinners (even on CAA), and I too must plead guilty of sinning here for posting some of my posts out of either selfishness or pride. Also, I have been guilty of mismanaging my time, and wasting some time here that could have been better spent studying or whatever. In that respect, I totally understand both of your motivations for leaving.

What is most comforting in all of this, is that if I never see either of you here again, I will see you both in heaven when this vapor that is my life is through. Look me up when you get there.
Your brother in Christ,
Kevin

*pats Volt on the back* Yeah, I waas kinda thinking the same thing. I think when one person does it, it strikes up the idea in other people's minds. Even if they don't realize that's where they got the idea from... okay, that really didn't make sense. ^^;;

Volt, I understand your frustration, but relax a minute.

I have only seen two very involved members of CAA leave. They were courteous enough to inform us of their departure. I think that was nice of them. They also had good reasons for leaving (whether it be for permanent or temporary). I do not see a bandwagon forming to leave over trivial matters.

Let them leave in peace. I think they would like us to continue enjoying our fellowship here.

Okay? We have said our good-byes. Now let us move on.

*laughs* Exactly! On the message board I used to post on, things really came to being like that. It was so silly! No one ever ended up leaving, they'de just give a stupid reason, watch people beg them to stay, then go, "Oh, okay, since you guys are so nice..."

My apologies. I have this problem of taking nearly everything I see seriously.

I shall now withdraw from this thread, and allow others express their farewell.

To bobtheduck: if you really believe it is the best thing to do, do it. But think carefully about it though, for as you see, there is a great deal of members who do not want you to be away. I hope you see this (I don't know if you're seeing this as you haven't posted any reply since you first created this thread), though I know I´m not the best to talk about it because of my short life as a CAA member.

As to the others, sadness is OK in this case but be happy for every new member that walks into the CAA as you seem to be forgetting them. Ciao.

Cephas's reasons for leaving are different, and even Bob mentioned this might be nothing more than a hiatus. I feel both have pretty decent reasons for posting a thread such as this.
