Yeah...I've dreamed/thought about that before. It's interesting to think about what everyone would do and look like.

Can you give more details about your dream? If so, are you willing to share them? Personally, I find your dream intriguing, and maybe others would like to know more about it.

This is interesting. I can't say I haven't had my own CAA dreams, but they're nothing any of you would care about. Still, I would enjoy an actual meeting in real life.

I think I will share my CAA meeting dream as well, if you don't mind. :)

First, everyone had name tags, but they were actual name tag stickers. Actually there were two. One had the person's SN and avatar, while the other had their real name.

Second, there were people playing video games there, including me owning people at Street Fighter. :) I also imagined people sparring due to the large number of martial artists on the boards.

Finally, most people didn't talk to each other at first. It was kind of akward, especially since the majority of people were introverted in my dream.

I'm curious...even if you haven't had a dream like this, what do you think such a meeting would be like?

I'm all for it. I would love to meet you all, granted I will meet the majority of you eventually. As far as the awkwardness, I could say that I'd probably feel alittle awkward, but the heck with that, it would be cool anyway.

Oh, did you see my real name? Was it Tarko Bean P?

Nope. I didn't see anyone's names; only that they were wearing nametags with their names on them.

I will look for you the next time I have the dream.

I think any meeting of CAA would involve quite a bit of "Wait, who are you?" as we all matched faces with user titles. I'm certain I would be mildly surprised about certain individuals about whom I know nothing.

While I think there would be some awkwardness, I think we could get to discussing philosophy/anime/manga relatively quickly. Such things are constant enough for all of us that they provide common ground.

hhmm.....unless there are other small-sized Asians in the meeting, I would feel like the odd one out. I admit I don't feel 100% confident in a non-Asian crowd yet. I think I'll be surprised at the number of young ones present.

EDIT: If anyone is serious about it, I'm open to any meetings this coming summer. I'll be at Las Vegas in July for my food science conference.

I just had to share this.

I dreamt Ingemar turned into a troll and was SPAMMing the "I admire _____ because" thread with big bold blue capitals letters, saying something (nasty? cool? can't remember) about UC. Something like "UC pseudonym is ________" It was "UC this UC that..." and he had spammed over 2-3 pages.

I recall wondering "yikes what are the mods doing about this?!" Gypsy or Inky was saying "Let's deal with this on PM, pls stop this now." And Ingemar was going "I'm a mod, you can't do anything to me!" and kept spamming.

Everyone was stunned over the vile actions of this traitorous mod. End of dream.

I woke up and actually went online to double check since it was pretty vivid. Then, I realized "Wait a minute, Ingemar isn't a mod." 0.o Funny, I dreamt about him yet I don't really know him.

oh well, weird dreams happen.

:eyebrow: That was a strange dream, Mave...

I vaguely remember a dream I had last night... it had over twenty different characters and plot elements from about eight genres. The entire thing was horribly complex, and I wasn't a player in it, I was observing like a novel. Questions never did get answered, either...

I havent had a lot of interesting dreams lately, in fact I dont remember having any dreams since the one I posted in the shoutbox a while back... see, my dad was camping out with a big group of [boyscouts? probably not] and everyone was wearing T-shirts with pictures of ruroken's "Jesus Freaks" characters on em 0_o Anyway it was a dark and stormy night and me and my little brother were in the car and wanted to leave but had to wait for dad to pack up his sleeping back or something when something happened that I knew would happen all along: a huge horde of flesh-eating zombies appeared over the horizon and attacked the camp! Ahh! end of dream

When I had a my fever, I dreamed that people were talking about different versions of anime that had names made of nothing but spaces, so my search on CAA didn't work right because I needed to search the nameless versions of the anime... I think they were Ghibli anime, like Totoro.

As for a dream not CAA related, I dreamed there were two dogs that, on all fours, stood about my height or even taller and they trapped me in a jeep. Too much Harry Potter, I suppose... Instead of one three headed Giant Dog, I saw two single headed dogs... The dream was quite long and involved. It was snowy outside, and they only attacked me, and they wouldn't let me out of the Yard, so I started to taunt them, but I realized they could easily step over the fence.

A few days ago, I remember dreaming of being at Hogwarts... I flew in and said something about "Muggle Borns"... The thing about that was I hadn't even seen HP in over a month before that point. Hmm...

I've got a long list of dreams (um, not all appropriate to share) in my paper journal. I've even got a map in one of them, and drawings in others. My dreams are ALWAYS vivid. I love my dreams. Usually... I haven't had any nightmares in a while, but I remember one from 2002 where my friend had written music that someone was offended by, so they framed her for a murder. No one would help her out, and she ended up on some show called "True Murder" (which I guess was something like "True Crime", but more like "E! True Hollywood Story.") I asked everyone for help, but no one would... I saw Bill Cosbey and, uh, his TV wife (from the Cosbey Show and Cosbey,) and I begged them to help me... Bill looked really sad, and was very quiet, when I realized he was the prosecuting attourney... He then turned into some old white lawyer... Everyone was talking about her being executed, but she wasn't even in trial, and all of her friends (at least those we share in common) were acting like there was no hope... That's the last real nightmare I can remember...

My friend Kylie once had a dream where she was in a place w/ a very high ceiling she couldn't see and a black and white checkerboard floor. She saw lots of people standing on their squares in their pajamas w/ nametags above their heads that showed where they lived, thier name, their age, ect. She noticed a sign w/ the name of the building but didn't remember what it said. The next day she told me, my best friend Elizabeth, and my other friend Allyssa about it and we said we would try to meet her there. That night I dreamt of a black place where I couldn't see anything. I heard someone I thought was Elizabeth say that she liked my shirt. Then I thought I heard Kylie say something about a purple and green alien. (She had a phobia of E.T. O_o) Then I woke up. The next day Elizabeth said she remember saying something about my shirt in her dream and Kylie remembered her alien remark. We just sat there looking at each other for a minute. Then Allyssa complained about not being in the dream!

Oh, once I dreamt that I dug a puddle that got a hideous infectous disese in it that infected Piccolo who was my baby sitter. O_o. He died from the disease and I realized that since he died from natural causes we couldn't bring him back. I started crying because it was all my fault and I loved Picc - ahem.

Wow. *scrolls up* That's the longest post I've ever written.

Sometimes when I have an issue on my mind, I'll dream I'm posting about it on CAA. Maybe I spend a little too much time here...

I also once dreamed that my brother's friend was Elric_kun, and I had never known all along. 0_o That was odd.
