Kuja Fanfic-Final fantasy IX

This is a Kuja fanfic for the game Final Fantasy IX..felt like telling Kuja's story...if ya like please let me know...also not my game, characters, music etc...everything belongs to squaresoft!!

Kuja's Story-Chapter 1

Smack. The slap resonated off the steel chamber's walls. A young boy stood, wiping the trickle of blood that formed out of his lip.

"Miserable failure," his father drew back his hand. The boy staggered back, holding his cheek. Stinging pain coursed through his face.

"Father-"the boy tried to cool his rage.

"No excuses, Kuja!"

Kuja braced for impact. It sent him sprawling to the floor. He struggled to get out of the way of his father's approaching failure.

"Can you do nothing right?" his father stooped down, face to face with the boy.

Kuja looked down, "I will try harder." His father stood up and spat in digust.

"Please Father-" he felt himself lifted from the ground, his father gripping his shirt.

"You are a miserable experiment, Kuja."

Kuja flew through the air, landing on the cement ground and rolling to a stop. He gripped the stairs by him and pushed to stand.

His father's shadow fell over him, "If you fail me again, you will be terminated. Understood?"

Kuja nodded. His father kicked him into the gut, sending Kuja back to the ground, unable to get up.

A knock. Blessed relief.

"What is it?" his father yelled over his shoulder.

A young girl with a black shirt and pants walked in. Her face remained expressionless as she approached them.

"Doctor, Kuja's new batch is ready."

"Good."

His father turned to Kuja, "Get your brother and have him see me."

"Yes, sir," Kuja felt himself choke on the word.

His father followed the expressionless girl towards the door, his boots echoeing off the pavement. He stopped, "and Kuja?"

Kuja propped himself up.

"Remember your dispensable." He closed the door behind him.
