Hey people, its me again.......

Postby Jingo Jaden » Tue May 01, 2007 3:15 pm

My mother has been a confirmed atheist for some time. After a long talk with her this time, well...... let me try to explain.

It started out with her talking about why she was not a beliver. And why she wanted to take the penalty for what she herself did wrong. I told her that she could not pay for it herself, and that Jesus wanted her to be saved.

We went through many points that time and I keept my cool, just until right at what I thought would be the end of the conversation.

I, in tears told her that I did not find Jesus by looking, more like he came to me. And that I who used to be very anti religius as I think some would call it at a very young age, was convinced not by people like teachers or preists, but by Jesus himself. And thus I wanted to find him, and become a better person through Jesus.

She noticed my tears and I gave her a big hug. She said she would open her heart up, I want you to pray that Jesus helps her, just like he helped me. The conversation without tears where not one subject got overuled by her comments did not have much of a effect, but the tears did.

Please, pray that she get helped, that she will find life and that it will go well. I feel that now is the chance that it may change for the better. Again, please pray.

I can totally relate to that. I was never "religious" myself until only about 5 years ago. Thinking of atheists, I am now learning more and more and understanding their point of view. I'm getting another perspective from different people of why they chose that route, but I know that I wish and hope, that those I'm close to, would understand what I know.... Something people can only help influence, but God does the work. I have high hopes for all, and totally believe that He can do the impossible, because He is merciful...

Praying for her...

独り 子 を 信じる 者 が 一人 も滅 ひない で, 永遠 の 命 お得る ため で ある。

I pray that God reveal Jesus to her in the right time. I also pray that you will be able to have a hand in her revalation. That would be so exciting! I will be praying, indeed.
