Quick Prayer - Storms

Postby inkhana » Thu Mar 04, 2004 11:33 am

Hey guys...I may not have a whole lot of time to say this, but there are a group of very severe storms moving through north Texas right now. Tornadoes and the whole lot. Eastland county is already under a tornado warning and that's not very far from where we live. So...prayers for protection until the storms pass over would be great...:)

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

:thumb: You got it.

And please, keep yourself safe with good sheltering and disaster kits. It does not hurt to be prepared!

Everything is fine here. Several tornadoes did touch down, but they weren't very close to here (mostly north...between Springtown and Boyd (Boyd?). There are still some people within the storm, but it seems to be weakening. Thanks for your prayers and please remember those who are still in the bad zone...-_-;; Eh, it's that time of year, right Shiroi? LOL

Chloe, and anyone else in the Dallas/metro area...did you guys make out ok?

Made a while back, but...heh, we got the other part of the storm. I think...we had a system from Texas a few days ago. I hate bad weather...

Thanks guys...:)

I would like to expand on this...there is no urgency in the matter, but when you watch the weather someday and you happen to notice bad storms in someone's forecast, just say a quick prayer for whoever's in the path of it. I'm sure they'd appreciate it...:)

Yup yup, I'm still not use to the weather around here but I remember how things got down in Texas and then up in New York during the winters. Weather can get pretty tricky and always a good thing to keep everyone in prayer.
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."
