What will name your kids

Talk about anything in here.

Well... Following by the above presedence, my name is James, and I'd have to preach from James... And considering I almost became a Lutheran... Well, Luther hated James. He called it a Book of Straw, and... well... I'm not sure I know where I'm going with this.
Jen (my fiancee) and I seem to have come back to our original agreement for alittle girl's name: Victoria Rose.

After finding out how my grandmother lived before she died, I'd like to name my daughter Grace... after her.

If I have a son, I'd like to name him Amos after the uncle I never got a chance to know but, according to what stories I've heard about him, would have loved if I did.

Grace Mae Hall II... and Amos Henry Hall III...

...or I could use the many other names I've thought of.

Pity Luther couldn't enjoy James. We've been going through it in my Bible Study and getting quite a lot out of it. :)

Wow. Lol. I have alwyas wanted to name my daughter (if I ever have one) Sakura. I also like the names Fiona and Bianca, as well. I haven't thought much about boy names. It seems that girls want to have sons and guys want to have daughters.

Wow, AsianBlossom, you are planning a lot of kids. I must admit, my own familial aspirations pale in comparison to the number of spawn you've got there.

Ha ha ha, very funny. No, these are all just ideas for names I could possibly ever give to my kids, as few or many as they might be. It's good to have a big number of them in case whoever you marry wants to pair down the long list you've already compiled, weeding out the names he/she thinks are ridiculous. (I'm personally hoping that the guy I marry likes Japanese names)

Besides, I like using this as a character name list as well.

My first son will be Kalvin Ignatius Graphic XVI, and shall inherit my dark powers when he is old enough. He shall take upon himself the throne of Kaligraphica, in which is kept the only pure source of solid awesome in the world. For this reason, he must be trained in the secret arts of the undead from birth, and conditioned to kill without hesitation, for the Biforce must be protected.

(It used to be a Triforce, but some elf kid broke one.)

Well there's always the way the Indians used to do it call the kid some rotten nickname for the first thirteen years of his life and then pack him off for a vision quest so that he can find his own name.

For a boy...

Mmmm...

I don't really know. Boy names aren't my real strong point. I would have to ask my future wife for help.

As for a girl though:

Chihiro because, yes, even though I loved the character from Spirited Away, I just love how it sounds.

Emily for a very personal reason.

Akari for another girl from a film I saw called 5 Centimeters Per Second. It just sounds really nice to listen to.

Oh dear, I just hope my wife loves Japanese culture as much as I do when I suggest naming our Children Japanese names. XD

I think that Jasper would be a lovely name for a boy...definitely Adelaide for a girl. I'm really interested in British names, like maybe Edmund or Edward. No Addie or Eddie, though. My family loves nicknames.:eyeroll:
