Dag yo, pre-job jitters

Postby heero yuy 95 » Sat Mar 24, 2007 6:39 pm

Salutations, denizens of CAA. *sigh* I just got a job as a cashier at a local store. While I am very pleased with this turn of events(I was going to get a summer job, but now this has given me a 3-month head-start), I'm well, just a bit anxious, I suppose. I mean, I've worked at a fireworks store before, but this the first time as a cashier, and so I guess you could say this is my first legit. job. First off, I should be thankful the Lord has provided me with a job so easily, but I'm still nervous. Sorry for repeating myself so much, but while i'm confident, some prayer that this job proves fruitful are most appreciated. Thanks, guys.

I worked as a cashier at a sporting goods store and now sometimes at a restaurant. I'll be sure to say a prayer for you.

Yeah it can be a little worrysome at first^^ But I've been working almost a year as a cashier and God's been blessing me through it. I do have my bad days of course, but I'm just glad that through all my mistakes I make, they're still willing to have me around^^
Praying for you...

Okay, so if this is your first job, let me give you a couple of tips.

1: Just do your best. The worst that happens is they fire you, you get a new job, and this one doesn't go on the résumé.
2: Don't stress out. It's not as big a deal as you think it is.
3: Whatever you do, don't vomit on a customer.
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.
