Ahh does anyone remember the 90s? When they had awesome cartoons...and even awesomer toys? I am not talking about the stupid furby, or even the gigapet.. i am talking way before that.. (of course you can talk about those if you want..)

I remember when I was very small I had soo many awesome toys, including My Little Pony (THE ORIGINAL!) I remember that my favorite pony was a little blue and puple dancing pony named Baby Tippytoes..
Image

And who could forget... PopCorn And CupCake Dolls?

Image (cupcake dolls)

Image
Now these popcorn dolls were pretty cool.. I mean...their Dresses were these things that if you turned the right way...they would POP into the air!! :O!! It was really cool.. XD For a four year old like I was. I think I owned a white or yellow one, and my sis owned a purple one.

There also the "Little Pretties" Image

I also owned the horse "StarLight" From Rainbow Brite"
Image

Aww and lookee the cute little "Fairy Tails!"
I think I owned this one: Image

Well, I think that' sall I have for now...what about you guys?! Any fun toys you had growing up? I am really curious to see what those who didn't live in the US grew up with ^_^

I LOVED My Little Pony stuff. I had a herd of them.

There was some Lego spin-off for girls.... Bellville? That I was thoroughly obsessed with for a long while.

But, considering I drew a face on a corncob a squirrel had left behind and made clothes for it, I'm guessing I missed out on some of the toy trends of the 90s.

- Transformers action figures (gave them all away to my neighbour, argh!!!)
- G. I. Joe figures (gave them away to someone too)
- M.A.S.K. vehicle (the one where the motorbike turned into a helicopter - I think it's called the Condor)
- He-Man and Skeletor (don't know where these went, I lost them)

I have a four-foot-tall Craftsman toolbox on wheels that houses my LEGO collection, which also overflows into a couple large boxes. I was all about the LEGOs for years.

That said, I wish I could find my old hand-me-down Soundwave [of Transformers fame] toy. Dang, Soundwave was cool.

I had several Transformers. Almost all my faves, except Bumblebee, Soundwave, and Megatron.
But I did have Ironhide, Wheeljack, Bluestreak, Ramjet, Starscream, Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Triggerhappy, Blurr, and Gears.
I had Castle Grayskull and several other He-man toys
And I also had almost every Care Bears figurine Kenner made.

When I was just a wee little lad, full of health and joy.
My father homeward came one day and gave to me a toy.
A wonder to behold it was with many colours bright
And the moment I laid eyes on it, it became my heart's delight.

It went zip when it moved and bop when it stopped whirrrrr when it stood
still
I never knew just what it was and I guess I never will.

now The first time that I picked it up I had a big surprise.
For right on the bottom were two big buttons that looked like big green eyes.
I first pushed one and then the other, then I twisted it's lid.
And when I set it down again, well here is what it did.

It went zip when it moved and bop when it stopped whirrrrr when it stood still
I never knew just what it was and I guess I never will.

It first marched left and then marched right, then marched under the chair
and when I looked where it had gone it wasn't even there.
I started to cry my Daddy laughed he knew just what i'd find.
When I turned around my marvellous toy came chugging from behind.

It went zip when it moved and bop when it stopped and whirrrrr when it stood
still
I never knew just what it was and I guess I never will.
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.

Hey, I had one of those cupcake dolls!

In the 90s, one of my favorite toys was Polly Pocket, before they became the lameness that they are now. I used to have a ton of those things!

Oh, and Zarn, I have that Rainbow Brite movie. Rainbow Brite was my faaavorite back in the 80s.

I was a major action figures kid xD The old Kenner Star Wars action figures were by far my favorite. I also blew my money on random legos (Especially the Star Wars ones). K-Nex, Random Action Figures, Beast Wars, Transformers, Stuffed Animals (lol), and Mighty Max!

Me too! I always wanted this Polly Pocket mansion that I saw in a catalog, but never got it. :(

I also played with barbies and pound puppies and little pet shop(not the newer kind).
And what are those fairy things that you pull the string and they go flying that just came back in circulation? Well, I played with those too.

Don't remember most of them, unfortuantely, but reading ShatterHeartArk's post reminded me I also had a few TMNT action figures. Aside from taht, idk, I had soem legos, but was never really into them. I never consider any of that old stuff to be important, so I kinda just move on and forget it all.

I grew up with a NES and an SNES, I've still got the SNES, but we sold the NES, I want another one though. I have good memories of it though. WHen people ask me what my favorite rpg I've played was, I can say Final Fantasy, when they ask which one, I just respond, Final Fantasy, that's the whole name, back before they had a gagillion of them.

OMG The ONE WHERE THEY TEAM UP WITH THE GUYS FROM DOUBLE DRAGON!"

I always loved that game, I havne't been able to find a cheap copy of it again yet though, and I'm nto swure what happened to our old one.

Close, but you're getting your early 1990s toy-selling franchises mixed up. You be confusing Toad Wars with Battletoads. Toad Wars is part of the title of Bucky O'Hare. It's Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars, kinda like how it's Afrika Bambaataa and the Zulu Nation.

Ok, so I'm starting to remember some of the ones I used to own now. XD

I had this huge doll house that I got when I was about 4. That thing was pretty awesome.

I used to "collect" those "Grand Champions" horses, because I always thought horses were really cool. XD I put collect in quotes because I only had like, four or five of them. XD

My brother had this Batman and Robin action figure set that I used to love playing with. It had Batman, Robin, and the Joker, I think, and there was this big dungeon-type thing that opened up so that half of it would be Wayne Manor and the other half was the Batcave. It was neat. XD

I was pretty big into Legos, too. I had tons of those things. XD

I went through this phase where I collected those Beanie Babies for a while, too--I ended up with like, over 100, because my aunt's friend was getting rid of a lot and she gave me two huge trash bags full of them. XD I had lots of stuffed animals in general, but those were my favorites.

Then, of course, there was the NES, but I'm not sure if it counts. XD

I used to have a complete collection of stuffed Care Bears.
Embraced by a gentle breeze, my heart breaks as I think of you.
All alone at the top of the hill, I watch as the seasons go by.
