Hi Everyone,
I grabbed this off space daily. Pretty neat, huh? (Pun intended). You can get the full article, including a little information about comets at http://www.spacedaily.com/news/comet-04d.html

A naked-eye comet - one visible to the unaided eye without telescope or binoculars - is an enjoyable sight, particularly for the brighter comets. On average, a naked-eye comet graces our skies about once every two years.
However, most remain fairly faint or appear close to the Sun as seen from Earth, such that even experienced observers may require binoculars to spot them. Only rarely do two relatively bright naked-eye comets appear simultaneously. Such an event will take place in April and May of 2004, when skygazers will feast their eyes upon both Comets C/2001 Q4 (NEAT) and C/2002 T7 (LINEAR).
