The song that makes you feel CRAZY-GO-NUTS HYPER HAPPY!

Postby Mr. SmartyPants » Wed Jan 17, 2007 8:05 pm

We all have those songs...

The song that makes you feel CRAZY-GO-NUTS HYPER HAPPY! Do please share yours.

Mine would be Polysics' song: "Electric Surfin' Go Go", mainly because the song is really hyper and fun. Not to mention the music video is almost like a 60's psychedelic acid-trip of some sort.

I find myself thrashing my head around, air-guitaring, and singing (more like shouting) the lyrics by myself in my room. It's pretty scary I know. XD

I got quite a few that brighten my day:
"No Rain" by Blind Melon
"Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake
"Loser" by Beck
and basically any Led Zeppelin song
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you. I appointed you to be a prophet of all nations."

Liam Lynch's "My united states of whatever" and "happy" are insanly off da hizzay.
Which makes me extremly off da hizzay.

It's a win/win.

Pretty much anything off of He Is Legend's CD "I Am Hollywood." Crazy good fun. Same goes with Showbread's album "No Sir Nihilism Is Not Practical" and many MxPx songs.

I'd also have to say any B-52s song. Those guys seemed to have fun every time they recorded something.

I might be the video guy for a bible camp this summer and I plan on using Hot Machete in one of the videos that I'd be doing.

"Man Made of CO2" by Man... or Astro-Man?

"Ready Steady Go" by L'arc~en~Ceil

"Underground" by Ben Folds Five

Ah man, every time I hear Underground it makes me think, "Man, I really -do- wanna go underground! The music is so snappy!" I love that song to death. The song that always does it for me is Dreamtheater's "I Walk Beside You." It's just a wonderful and very powerful song.

I love their new album, but I haven't tried that one. On an earlier album, I believe. To iTunes I go now!

As for my "hyper happy" songs, I would have to say TobyMac's "Diverse City" (and "Boomin'" on the new album), plus "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves and "We Like to Party" by the Vengaboys. They all make me smile and dance -- or at least I call it dancing. ;)

Waka Laka and Butterfly [Fast Version]

of DDR

Also a couple of really Pop-ish Japanese songs, which are generally the opening themes of animes, that I happen to be ashamed of listening to, REALLY get me going xD
