The Pandas are coming!

I thought that I share this with everyone here.

In Sept of 2006, Lun Lun the panda give birth to a female cub at Zoo Atlanta.

The female cub name is Mei Lan.

Zoo Atlanta started to share some photos the cub.

Lun Lun cuddling a snoozing cub.

27 days old cub

50 days old cub

getting more cuter each day.

Attempting to crawl...

A very cute 16-pound fur ball

My gosh, she really is adorable. She reminds me of my Pookie. Everything cute reminds me of Pookie. If only Pookie had such coloring...

I swear, it broke out of the zoo and followed me home!...... I can keep it, right?

Though the giant panda is often assumed docile because of their cuteness, they have been known to attack humans, usually assumed to be out of irritation rather than predatory behavior.

Mei Lan is Chinese for Atlanta Beauty.

Mei Lan is the only giant panda cub born at a U.S. zoo in 2006, and the fifth in the past six years.
