I try to draw a vague line between "Disturbing" and "Threatening blindness." Sort of how the Bible is automatically taken off the best seller list, but with less hopeful intent.

-Do you consider yourself to be a more casual type of fan (meaning that you simply watch anime just for the entertainment) or do you see your being a fan to be more of a hobby?
I used to be more casual, but recently it's become more of a hobby. I'm starting to buy more DVD's, and I'm also getting my feet wet in writing about anime, as well.

-Also, when it comes to choosing another series to read or watch, are you more open to any kind of genre, or are you usually picky with your choices (in other words you tend to stick to a particular genre of your taste)?
variety is he spice of life. That's kinda my motto. XD So no, I'll watch pretty much any genre, although I do have favorites. The only genre I really avoid is the sort of...fan-servicey/harlem stuff. I'm not a huge fan of long shounen series that have a sort of monster-of-the-week flavor, although I do like Naruto and Bleach decently enough.

-And finally, how will you see yourself as an anime fan in ten years? Do you think anime will still hold as a big part of your life, or will it have much less of a presence?

I think so. My mom told me, as a kid obsessed with Pokemon, that I'd eventually grow out of it and have different tastes.
As you can see, it's only gotten worse. She's grown to accept it. XD
As I get older I think I might not be as involved in the fandom, since I'll be busy with a job and a family. I don't think I'll ever completely dislike anime, though...and, I may even get a job related to anime, so who knows? I could be watching anime until I'm 80.

I've become very jaded by anime. I don't watch as much as I used to because nothing holds my interest anymore. But I could easily stop near the manga section of any bookstore and just read.

I'm extremely picky. I'm going to have to do some thorough research before I get into any anime, but must-haves are originality, interesting twists, and cleanliness, for the most part.

Anime is just going to go down hill from here. The only reason I'm still dabbling in it is because I love drawing the medium, and that's all. Though even now, I'm trying to draw away from that manga feel.

It realy depends on the anime. If it's like one I like then I usaul just consider it something to watch, but if I, like, REALY like it then it's more like a part of life to me. lol

I usauly only stick to comedy anything else usauly just bores me...

10 YEARS!? Uhhh... I'll probly still like it. lol
By then I'd hope I'd be a little more mature and think more about life then anime, but most likely I'd just be deppressed over the fact my favorite anime are totaly over and forgotten. lol
