Hi peoples! I'm posting off my own PDA! It takes a long time to write, but it's really cool!

I tried getting on the chat, but obviously I don't have the right plugins. Peoplean see me there, but I can't see what they say or talk

Yeah that is pretty confusing. How in the world to you post off a public display of affection? Is it similar to writing off something? Are you disregarding somebody's display of affection towards you? That's not not very nice.

XD Ditto (although I will admit, when I saw the title, I was a bit weirded-out XD). You know, those little electronic daytimers that have the pen with the touch-pad. I didn't know you could browse websites on those, though I do know you can check e-mail if you have internet capabilities. Anyways, yeah, that's neat. :thumb:

To be honest, I grew up learning what a PDA was (The Personal Digital Assistant) before finding out it was an acronym for "Personal Display of Affection".

When someone would go "No PDA!" I would think "Wait... we can't have palm pilots?"

Resist PDA on a PDA! But I can't help it~

I own one myself, and I use it for tracking stuff I'm meant to do at what times and so forth. But I also have a laptop for heavier-duty things. Easier to whip out the little PDA out of my pocket than hold a whole laptop, however small the laptop is.

Everything's so big XD!
Yes. personal digital assistant.

Although I can only access internet by hooking the cradle to the net enabled comp.

The only other methods are too complicated for me.

Did you know that I love you?
Come and lay with me.
I love you.
And all this day, I will love you.
You make me feel alive,
and I'll love you

That is also the only way I can access the net on my PDA. The wireless access for PDAs is interesting to say the least, but I don't think I want to pay too much money to access the Internet on such a small screen (unless you own one of those hi-res PDAs).

Do you own a Pocket PC (Microsoft PDA) or a Palm Pilot?

Yes. At one of the homeschooling basketball gyms there's a sign forbidding it, including hugging. XD

Yes I do. It's Pocket PC. It used to be an old B&W one, but that ran out of batteries and never came back. *Sniff* Then my dad bought another one which had a bunch of programming flaws. Then he bought another one and stepped on it and cracked the screen, then he finally got the one I use now. My mom also got one.
Now, my uncle gave them better ones, and I have my dad's with web and stuff, and I can transfer images and music to it. The problem is that the battery only lasts about an hour or so on it's own.

Depending on who made your PDA, it's definitely possible to upgrade the battery, either directly from the company or from somebody on the 'net who has upgrade services. For thirty dollars I was able to buy a Compaq iPaq battery upgrade from a PDA site, which in the end had almost doubled the battery life from what it was originally (1-2 hours). But I guess it really depends on how much you use it during the day and if you have the backlight on all the time.

Haha, I always thought of PDA as public display of affection and ... er... "personal digital assistants" as palm pilats. XD I thought this was going to be a thread about how annoying PDA was.

See, what our friend Jack isn't telling us is that he is so cool that when he kisses a girl, he connects to the Intarweb. I think he's a cyborg or something.
