Full Metal Alchemist Boxed Set

Anyone know when it's coming out or IF it's coming out? It's been some time since the series ended and I'm getting a bit impatient. :P

Vol #13, the last vol, called Brotherhood came out in Sept 26 of this year.

Right now, there is no plans for a boxset, but I really believe there will be a box set later in the year.

I just think they would be passing up a deal to make more money really.

Sheesh, that'd be one hefty boxset. Expensive, too.

Better believe it! Look how much the individual DVD's were! I shudder to think how much the entire box set is going to be!

Uhm, aren't boxed sets USUALLY under $150 dollars? That would definitely be cheaper than the individual DVDS as 25 X 13 = 325. LATER IN THE YEAR?! *dies* A POSSIBILITY OF NOT COMING OUT?!?! *dies even more*

I suggest getting into another series.

I would've suggested following the AS dub if anything but unfortunately it is no longer aired. :(

Where I live, the DvDs are just over 10$.

I've seen the entire series on YouTube but I want it on DVD. But I don't want to spend 3 months saving for one dvd. And I don't have cable anyway.

Generally, Funimation has a commitment of not releasing any box set until at least 1 year after the last volume has been released. Even then, they tend to do multiple volume sets first (Kiddy Grade, Tenchi Muyo GXP) of their more popular titles first. In other words what they will most likely come out with first are about 6 to 7 two volume sets. After that, within about 6 months to a year later a full box set might make it's way out. So I would imagine you are looking at 2008 to 2009 before you actually see what you are looking for considering the fact that FMA is one of their most popular titles.

Aw, pooey. Ah, well. I suppose I'll enjoy it that much more when it comes out, right? Thanks for all your replies.

It wouldn't cost an arm and leg, if they made a box set of FMA. I would say that it would go for $150 or less.

Yes, its 13 volumes, but they could have cut the volume count down.

The Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: Limited Edition DVD Box Set sells arond $140 to $160 and the box set is a limited number set.

Zeta Gundam is 50 episodes and this what comes in the box set

Collector's Art Box

Exclusive Zeta Gundam Poster

48 page Zeta Gundam 'Encyclopedia' Booklet

Includes NINE exclusive Zeta Gundam mobile suit Pencil Sharpener Figure collection by SEIKA

The Gundam Wing boxset went for $100 at most places and Gundam Wing is 49 eps long.

I know that FMA is 52 episodes long, but I think a box set would go around for $150. The only way that it would have a bigger price tag is, if they made the box set a limited number set and had all the voice actors sign a poster that would put inside the box.

Sorry to go offtopic on the matter.

AS is still showing it, but not this week. The ep 25 was the last one that they showed on Dec 21 at 1:00 am EST. Ep 26 will air on Jan 1 at 12:30 am EST.

They are going to change the lineup on the first of Jan.
