Why must we be abandoned in times of need?
Do others not see when we yearn for their touch;
An insatiable hunger only they can feed.
Left alone with out their words – fallen into darkness.
Stumbling blindly without their light,
We fall and scream, knowing we've faced too much,
Knowing the only answer is flight.
Flight from the lives we once faced
And the joys and terrors others have brought.
Our time with them, a time of joy and life,
Wonder we all, was it for naught?

I got (and gave) Christmas gifts. ^_^

My favorite was perhaps the hardcover edition of a Jeeves and Wooster book I requested. :)

I don't usually buy myself nice hardcovers, so I was really pleased to get it.

Really, though, all the gifts I got were kind, because I knew they came from my family. (Even the packet of dimes from my sister!)

actually, i've seen a 4 gigabyte USB before. extremely expensive...
anyways, i got an 30 GB video i-pod from my aunt which was VERY VERY surprising because she always gives us really nice gifts and my mom told her not to get us as nice gifts because we don't give them that much because my family's not that rich...anyways, i'm scared to open it because it's the most expensive item i've ever owned before and i don't even listen to music so i don't know what i want to do with it. should i just give it back to my aunt?...

I got a folding metal easel, 50 oil pastels of decent quality, a set of 5 ramen bowls, chopsticks, a booklight, two sweaters, a lot of gag monkey socks, an iPod player/recharger + radio and alarm clock in the shape of a VW bug o.O, etc etc etc.

And my family recieved a new microwave from some relatives, which is a very good thing as our current one has 1985 copyright and has long sense lost some steam.

EYETOY is finally HERE! It was the "Eyetoy Play 2" package! Woot! Got it today, rather than yesterday... I wrote up a review in a myspace blog, then sent it, but... OOPS myspace crashed... No backup copy... Grr... Myspace annoys me to death sometimes...

Sony obviously doesn't want to bank on the creative controllers in the US market, because no one has ever heard of this thing... In europe, they get everything before the American audiences, and they even have a martial arts trainer... Eyetoy HD looks pretty awesome, but we won't see that one for a while either... Oh, and it's PS3 and will likely cost a lot more (given it's going to have a much higher resolution...)

I got Star Trek:The Fans' Collective:Borg DVD set every major Borg episode from
Q Who?(STNG)to Regeneration(ENT).It actually starts with Regeneration(ENT) and ends wirth Endgame(VOY).The first one I watched was my personal favorite:
Voyager's:Dark Frontier.I always love the way Seven spits back the Borg Queen's line of "Our thoughts are one!"when she tells Janeway how to disestablish the command link.
Still I do wish it had been The Best of Seven of Nine boxset instead, which would
IMHO have been 100% cooler.
