I wasn't going to say anything on this thread, as there have been so many of these threads started in the past. I know I will always forget someone. So, this time I'm not going to kiss up to any mods or admin. *hehe* I don't need to let the people who I admire know, because I think I've let them know with all the pms and through comments I make on their threads.

Everyone here is so special in their own right. They all contribute in their own way. And, when I meet them in Heaven I'm sure I will embrace them and we'll talk over how we only knew one another by our words. The wonderful beauty of knowing someone else who shares the Spirit within is too much for mere words anyway. Now, I'm the sap, Gypsy. *heh*

However, I feel I should at least mention my two favorite members here, since I think they're the greatest, my kids:

Ah well. I admire you too, for similar reasons.

Then I had a good idea about what you meant. Alright. I'm not going to quibble on the subject. Meanwhile, I'll list a few people that deserve to be recognized for somewhat random reasons, though they may not apply in this thread.

Heaven's Cloud... for your honest attempts at grammar. Some don't care.
Sephiroth... had to be listed by myself.

Wow I haven't come in the general section for a while! It's pretty fun to read long threads like this because I find myself saying: "hey look it's one of my avatars!" You all have excellent taste. :lol: *breaks arm patting self on back*

I don't think there is someone I admire that hasn't already been listed several times so, I'm just going to say this= To all the girls that rack up the posts in the bishie thread with me: you girls rock! :thumb: We have so much fun in there! And we totally win the award for having the most attachements in a thread. ;)

Honestly, I never expected my name to pop up in this thread considering I am still new. I do not know if I have displayed any admirable behavior yet on these forums either.

However, thanks Zilch, and Icarus too.

After reading a lot of "I do not want anybody to feel bad," posts here, I feel I should give my personal comment. I just want to let everyone know that I do not feel slighted at all if you do not mention me in this thread. I respect everyone here, and I have already assumed that everyone here respects me.

Okay, I'm going to follow t_n_c's lead and not mention any names, since those of you I particularly admire already know it. :hug: (... and I have no kids to mention.)

I do want to say that this is the awesomest Christian board I've ever seen. So often on Christian boards, discussions degrade into childish bickering, and I just don't see much of that here. So, thanks mods, and thanks members. You're all great. :hug:

Hmmm... this is the most civil Christian board I've been to, when I think about it.

I was IMing with MillyFan today, and looking in on the Christian Forums, which she mods at.... their motto is "Uniting all Christians in One Body"... but browsing over the boards... there are so many fights! It's typical of many Christian boards I've been to. MF commented that all Christian forums tend to be like that... constant bickering, or ruled with an iron fist.

I don't find it too iron-fisty here, actually, but the "iron fist" rule, apparently, is a very, very good thing here! It works! Like that... no theology disscussion rule. Well, it's bent a little, here and there... minor theology disscussions, advice on doing what's right... but the kinds of disscussions that turn into arguments... the "go to Theology.web, don't fight about stuff here" is such a GREAT thing! I mean.. this board is so peaceful compared to many boards (Christian and non), where everything is allowed and people get into politics and stuff...

Not that I might not like more political disscussion here, maybe.. I find it fun... but it so often degenerates into fights...

Just... the mods here do a good job, overall. I may not agree with every policy, but overall... it's very good here, very civil.

That was pretty much our reasoning for such rules.

I find it interesting how fast these threads grow. Does that mean that we are all very inclined to admire people?

Here's an interesting idea for all the members you want to mention, but don't, because you don't want to leave someone out. PM them.

I wasn't going to post on this thread, but I had to because I heard Haibane mention the "iron fist" rule. I have to say that I didn't like that rule initially myself, but now I've come to see it's effectiveness (as partially evidenced by this thread). It's good to see honest discussion that doesn't sacrifice Christian love. Keep it up mods/admins, and much love to the brethren on CAA.
