I'm a huge fan of the series, I have all of the DVDs that are out. one thing I really like about the anime is that its very clean(at least the dub is) so who all likes this anime?

*waves* Mes do! Er- *blink blink* yeah... I don't have any of the DVDs and can't say I've seen even most of it but hey, I still love it. I'd like to get everything .hack actually. But come to think of it but favorite characters happen to be BT, Mimiru, and Sora 0.o

Subaru is awesome. She is one of my favorite characters in anime.

....

Now that I think about it, Mimiru is also a pretty cool character.

I also like Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's character artwork.

Balmung rules all! Even if you only see him for like 30 seconds, lol. I've seen .hack//dusk and it is pretty good. I think it is going to be released on dub soon.

I agree that .hack//sign is very clean. Personally I get a little bored after awhile though, because the plot moves soooo slow. :sniffle:

I agree that it moves too slowly. I remember once I missed a few episodes, but when I came back it was like I hadn't missed anything.

Well... I'll admit it does go slow, but that also allows it to develop the plot and the characters to a fine degree. Also, the art and the music are both awesome.

.Hack//SIGN is one of my favorite animes as well. The miusic is great, the animation solid, and the characterization and plot deep and thought-provoking. I'm looking forward to buying the final DVD with the special episodes on it.

My favorite characters are Subaru, Bear, and Crim (Crim reminds me quite a bit of myself).

Well, I don't think this ep was made by the same people who made the rest of the series, its perverted in the aspect that there is nudity, I really don't want to go into details given this is a Christian site, but in any event I found it offensive.

Thanks for the tip! (And the restraint!) In situations like this, it's usaully OK to PM the individule who's curious, though it's usually good to make sure said user is over a certain age.

I love .Hack//Sign, but I've only seen the first ten eps (on DVD), and random episodes of the show on Cartoon Network. I like Bear, Tsukasa, Krimm, and some of the others are pretty cool, but not many are that developed yet. I need to see more.

I like the manga, Legend of the Twilight a lot as well, though it's a totally different feel than the anime. A lot more humor and fanservice here and there, but it hooks me. I like that it's not quite as heavy, though there is a storyline going so it could develop more seriously or not. I don't know what will happen.

Yea I read .hack/legend of the twilight too and it is a lot more fanservicey than the show. Not too bad though, I still like all the .hack stuff! ^_^

im pretty sure it wasnt by the origional artist, because everyones eyes were messed up[/spoiler]
maybe i saw the wrong one?

*edit*
yep im pretty sure i saw the wrong one, the one i saw was .hack//unison

I've seen both SIGN and Legend of the Twilight (dusk), but none of the OAVs. But I've loved what I've seen. Yes, the pacing is rather slow, but it doesn't drag. The character development in the show in incredible, especially in SIGN.

Favorite people are Crim, Bear, Tsukasa, and Mimiru from SIGN; Mireille, Balmung, and Shugo/Kite from DUSK. And I so love those gruntys!

.Hack//SIGN was amazing... It is a little slow sometimes...but to me it was worth the wait. The animation was superb...very clean; very detailed. Good stuff. The music is what blew me away...and because of .Hack//SIGN, Yuki Kajiura is my favourite composer. Seriously...the music is ingenious. As for the nudity...I don't remember there being any in SIGN...I think there was some in the manga for DUSK..."Legend of Twighlight Bracelet" or something...

I've seen .Hack//DUSK...and to me, it was no where as good as SIGN...probably because Rena was grating on my nerves throughout all 13 episodes...and I had a hard time sitting through the whole series because of her...Yeah, she almost drove me crazy. Still...I think .Hack//SIGN is worth a watch...although, I know a lot of people who like it and a lot who don't...so I suppose it just depends on what you're into.
