The Heart-Attack Grill

Postby rocklobster » Sat Dec 16, 2006 5:51 am

I heard a couple days ago on the radio that there's a restaurant called The Heart Attack Grill. They serve Bypass Burgers and their waitresses are dressed like nurses. I swear I am not making this up!

And the sad thing is it will probably work and be really successful and the world will get dumber and dumber. (lol)

They're being made more successful by all of the actual nurses complaining about it. :eyeroll: And you forgot to mention the Flatline Fries served with the Bypass Burgers.

Icky! >_< Sometimes, just hearing the name of the food and thinking of all the grease involved... blarg! KFC makes me sick already (I like it, but it just gives me stomach upsettedness afterwards)... although I would eat McDonalds cheeseburgers all the time, they started to make me sick and now I turn to their oven toasted sandwiches (Canadian only, as far as I know but sooooo good!^^)

It has been on Fox News Channel.Basically they're trying to compete with Hooters.
And from the pictures they had of the food it looks like you could get a coronary just looking at the menu.

Word.

Just checked out their website (wouldn't recommend it for most CAA people, it's full of scantily clad women), and their food looks okay. Their fries are deep-fried in lard, which is pretty awesome. Also they have a quadruple bypass burger which looks a lot like those sandwiches Dagwood makes in the comics.

LOL. XD Why do you think we're all so fat?!

Anyway, this resturant would actually make me want to go...if it wasn't for the fact that they're obviously not trying to appeal to my demographic...what with the really skimpy outfits and all. O.o;

People get all crazy over stuff like this. You don't die instantly if you go to a burger place. However, you should be doing somthing in life to keep you in shape. Between my job at a grocery store that keeps me walking like 6-7 hours a day...and kickboxing twice a week...I stay in fine shape, and I eat junk sometimes. Just don't eat at burger places all the time. Thats all. Having said all that, I really want to go to this place.

Delicious XD Though I'm sure that's a fake picture. Though I'm sure that's what the sandwich contains.

Are you sure it isn't a joke site, you know like satire or something. It doesn't look all that plausible or seriously thought out.

Nope, it's a real resurant. It's been in the news lately because nurses are threatening legal action: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061209/ap_on_fe_st/naughty_nurses_7

It's kinda disturbing. I read about it on the aol strange but true section. I can see why it's making some nurses mad when you look at the uniforms.
