2006 Christmas Gift Exchange

Since Christmas is just a few weeks away, I thought it would be fun to do another CAA gift exchange like the one last year, if people are interested and the mods approve.

Rules:
1. PM me or state in the thread that you wish to participate, and include how you want your gift sent to you - via email or PM or otherwise.
2. The gift you give can be anything that can be sent digitally - suggestions: artwork, poem, wallpaper. It should be something you made yourself.
3. Please sign up before the 20th so there is enough time to get names assigned and gifts done for Christmas. Names will be assigned on the 20th unless people think there needs to be more time. :edit: Please sign up before the 18th, names will be assigned on that day.
4. If you have a gift giving/getting preference - ie. you can draw but can't write poems, say so, so that assignment accomodations can be made

I'll participate if you push the date for the nammme assignment back a bit... I may not be able to find out who I got on the 20th (only 4 days before el big dayo = me on a road trip to familys house with parents).

Okay - that's fine, I had originally thought to assign names the week before Christmas, so unless there are other conflicts, the assignment date will be the 18th.

And I have Mr. SmartyPants and mechana2015 signed up.

theres a small block of time from the 21st-24th in which I would have time to draw something up for someone! as long as I have the pm by the 21st I can get it done!

edit- Btw if your taking preferences on things you can get... I like art and poems and wallpapers... although I like art the best!

XD The point is that you are assigned a person at random, and that person does not know you're giving a gift to them.

This looks like fun to join. I had looked in earlier but didn't think I'd have the time to make anything. Now, however, I've got some free time at work so I'd love to be involved.

My gift giving preference is art, but I can do poetry too.... I think. XD

My getting preference... Hmm.... art, probably. I like everything else too, though. Art is just my fav. ^^

Oh.. and that means I have a gift-getting preference: please don't pair up CA and myself, since we're sisters and already exchanging gifts between ourselves. :sweat:

Or at least, that's my take on the matter. Not sure about you, CA. Do you feel the same way about the matter?

Absolutely. I'd hate to get a gift from you.

Actually, I agree, though. I'm guessing that we wouldn't have been paired up anyway, but I'd rather make it plain.

But if we were paired up it wouldn't worry me all that much.

And mechana, if you can get it done in time before you are internetless, it might be a possibility for you to get it to me and for me to send it on. Or you could just send it late. Up to you; if you're a day or two late I don't think it would be a big deal.

:edit: And Jaden, if you're giving something to CA and Photosoph separate from the exchange, that is perfectly fine, since it's not affiliated with the exchange; you'll just need to make sure you do something for whoever you're assigned as well. ^_^

Hahaha well if you're anything like the Mothers I know then you've got some good characteristics in there. ^^

Lol I don't think that's a particularly bad complex. But if you do start trying to spoon-feed me through the computer I'm going to have to recommend help of a proffesional kind.

Sorry to double post.

I've closed the sign-up and PM'd everybody with the names of who they will be giving gifts to. Please send your gift as close to Christmas day as possible, unless your schedule won't allow for it. If you can't get it sent on time, feel free to PM it to me and I'll send it on.

I assume most people will prefer for their gifts to be sent to them via PM, which doesn't allow image attachments. You can use an image host such as http://www.imageshack.us .

If anyone has questions, don't hesitate to PM me.
