I seriously doubt they would care if you did that. Same thing with Evanescence and Underoath's out of print cds (just for example). In fact, Evanescence encourages people to download their oop music instead of buying it from someone on ebay at ridiculous prices since they'll never make any more money from it.

Hey, I have a legality question. Becoming the Archetype used to be The Remnant, and they released one CD, which was self titles. It is no longer in production, and not even ebay or amazon.com have a copy.

So, my question is, would it be illegal to DL it from the internet?

Not at all. The only possible way would to maybe snag it at one of their shows, but they couldn't care less. I saw a stack of em during the "Hell Freezes Over" tour but they didn't put em out on the merch table.

Try these programs:
bittorrent
Limewire
DC++ (find a good metal hub)
Hope you can find it!

Pretty freakin incredible. It was the first metal/hardcore show I had ever been to, so it was definately a "magical" experience ]www.myspace.com/theninetyfivetheses[/url] )

Aletheian set the tone for the "deathly" metal to begin. And finally the headliner, Becoming the Archetype. The lead vocalist said he was sick, but he still shook that church basement like nothing else. They're SOOO much louder live. (well duh, but still it just seemed so much more thundering) Needless to say, me and my friend were at least 50% deaf afterwards. But was definately worth it to headbang beside em. Good times!

O ya, who here really digs Amon Amarth? (exceptionally good viking death-metal) I know Hitokiri is a fan...

Do you really think that a band that has 666 in their myspace name is appropriate for CAA? I haven't heard them, so maybe they're fine, but...still.

I just found this great site to download a bunch of hard to find metal (antestor, crimson moonlight, sympathy) it's pretty cool.
oops, I forgot to say the website, it is metal-downloads.com

They were when they first started out, but as they kept releasing more cds, they used more Viking-themed lyrics instead. The same thing happened with Unleashed.

Oh, I see.
Does anybody like Job for a Cowboy? From what I have heard of them, they sound pretty good. I know that a lot of people don't like them, though (I'm not sure why...)

They sound pretty cool so far.
By the way, that list you put up was helpful. Do you know of any Tech Death Metal bands besides Sympathy, Extol, and Aletheian that are christian?

You could try:

The Horsemen of the Apocalypse
Tortured Conscience

but they are nowhere near as good as any secular tech death band. That style of music is very sorely lacking in the Christian music scene.
