Really, if I had kids, these would be the names that I would pick.

If I had a girl, I would name her Rae. Or I would at least incorporate that name into her full name somehow, like Rae Anne or something. XD I've always thought that was a cool name. As for a boy's name...I really can't think of a good one yet. XD

Actually speaking of that movie, it REALLY gave me a complex when I was a kid...I couldn't figure out if I had a guy's name, or he had a girl's name....it was whack, yo, and it caused me to be SO afraid that I'd fall in love with a guy from England or Canada named Ashley and we'd get married and then we'd be Ashley and Ashley FromCanada! Oh noes! But that didn't happen, so yay.

What really gets me is that my parents thought they were being original!

I must warn you, it's something of a unique name nowadays. I've met older women with my name, but no one young. I've also been mistakenly called "Allison" a lot. It gets old, yes it does precious.

The first time I've ever heard of a guy's name being Ashley, was on that show waaaay back when: Making the Band. Remind O-Town everyone? I thought it was so WERID for a guy to have that name! Actually it's kinda funny... On my old forum that one girl have a crush on the guy, so she'd always be talkign about that Ashley Angel on AIM chats. Then later we found out that the actual user was a guy and his neighbour would go on it sometimes (I think it went). So, he got nominated as best female mod in the award show they had (oh how funny it was!) *cough* but anyhow^^
