women's minds, man's final unsolved mysteries...

Talk about anything in here.

women's minds, man's final unsolved mysteries...

Postby supa dupa ninja » Mon Feb 23, 2004 7:52 pm

I think there was a thread like this way back but I just want to refresh this topic one last time.

for the Guys, have you ever complimented a girl (or a woman) about her looks because she's being down on herself but instead of a thanks she snaps back and gives a very painful coment?

it seems that their minds are always set on negative and seems like they don't like comments coming from their freinds, lovers, etc.

what I'm trying to say is, girls are weird... :P

Just remember, God may have created women to be our wives (EDIT: and partners in everything... don't want to get heat here.), but he didn't give us an instruction manual with them.

Beyond the bible of course...

I gave up on figuring out how the female mind works...... a while ago. First, I'm not sure how the human brain works. Why go farther? One less thing for me to worry about. We all have our differences and that make life more interesting. It's cool how we all think differently. All, I know is both the way men's minds and the way women's minds think have their equal advantages and disadvantages.

I understand women completely. I am in no way perplexed by them or confused.

Once you accept a few simple facts then it all falls into place and makes sense.

Women are...
Illogical: They do things, expect things, say things, and think things that are extremely illogical but completely justified in their mind.

Impulsive: Women change their mind on a very regular basis. Anywhere between every 2 seconds to 2 minutes.

Emotional: All decisions a woman makes are based on an emotional response. Men base decisions on a logical response. Men and women come to decisions and conclusions by completely oppopsite methods but completely balance each other.

Irrational: Women will get mad at things that make no logical sense (this falls under illogical but i felt it deserved its own mention). Its a darned if you do, darned if you dont sort of system. No matter what choice a male makes, he is wronge. plain and simple. No rational thought behind it.

There you have it. The female mind explained in a cliff notes fashion. Granted there are always exceptions but they are the minority.

I don't know whether to call you a very brave or a very stupid man.

Odd. I have quite similar conversations with my female friends when there are no guys around. We think you are illogical, impulsive, and irrational (not always emotional, granted, but we have plenty of other adjectives.)

About lashing out, true, girls tend to see things in a negative fashion when things are going wrong (doesn't everyone have moments like that?), and sometimes some poor, innocent guy just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and gets yelled at. Chances are, we don't really have anything against you -- it's just the circumstances.

But yes, we are weird and proud of it. ^_~ (That means that sometimes, we don't understand why we do things, either...)

Listen to Relient K's song, "Mood Rings". They handle the subject very well and provide an interesting solution to the problem.

Scientific and psychological surveys have shown that on average men are much more rational, logical, and less impulsive than women.

However men are usualy more cold and less emotional than women which can build a lot of walls.

I don't know whether to call you a very brave or a very stupid man.

They cant do jack diddly to me. Their just people on a message board. They have no effect on my real life. Even if one of these girls did approach me in real life, i find it highly unlikely they could do anything to me physicaly to harm me.

And women sees things in a way that it sees all of it, and not a particular spot. Men rather sees only part of their vision, like a tunnel.

That's why men doesn't realise their girlfriend or wife had done up a new hair-style unless it's very noticeable. And also why women can spot that tiny different in their rooms when they enter it, if there's something new.

It was in my psychology and sociology classes in college.

We read a lot of books from high profile professors (Cant think any off the top of my head but i can research it if you like. just send me a PM).

Part of the class was about the fundamental psychological diffrences between men and women as a whole (there are always exceptions to every "natural" law).

I have a degree in psychology, and I have never heard such things in school. Unless they are referred to as STEREOTYPES. Repeat: STEREOTYPES. I suspect that you may be remembering what you read the way you wished to interpret it instead of what it actually was.

Blah Blah Blah.

I only know what my professor told me. Take it up with her.

Mrs. Musgrave. She works regularly at the Abilene Texas State School with the mental disabled.

Yeah your right. I sorta let my anger and frustration and depression influence my attitude towards people.

My apologies to everyone and especialy YesIExsist but i am not trying to stereotype OR anything else. I ONLY know what i was taught and i have NOTHING to gain from it. Lord knows i worship my fiancee like she is a queen so i have no superiority idealism. I simply go by what i was taught.

Reguardless, I apologise for being so rough and harsh. I need to really get over whats bothering me but its not easy.

Maybe they are simply not stupid, and can tell right away when you are just complimenting them to make them feel better.

I don't like to compliment people when they don't deserve it, nor do I like to receive such compliments. Why not? They are an insult to my intelligence. Of course I don't get angry, but I don't appreciate it.
