ok folks, i'm taking a poll, my hair's gotten kinda ratty lately and i'm contemplating shaving my head, any thoughts?

Well...I dunno about shaving your head, I mean, isn't there something else you could do with it? Cut it, by all means, but...the shaving of the head thing presents a rather strange mental image...you done that before?

Hmm.... I think you'd look good with short hair, but maybe not shaved. Then again I'm not much into the whole shaved look so someone else's opinion would be worth more in that regard.

i actually grew up getting military style hair cuts all the time, so i'm somewhat used to having very short hair, but no, i haven't had the entire top of my head devoid of hair, however it wouldn't stay that way of course, it's more of a means for me to just start all over

If you're going to shave your head, you should get a Harley. ^_^

I think long hair is awesome, so I don't think you should shave it. You do as you see fit, however.

It's Fabio the Bouncer. It's your hair and I'm not for long hair usually, but you would look odd with it cut short I think.

Hmmm.... well. i think you'd look fine if you shaved your head.. or atleast a good cut.

My hair grows vertically, so Im not the person to ask. If you want to know if its a good idea to have the mini gates of Mordor on your head, the answer is no.

Oh wow, now there's a mental image!

I would suggest just trimming it up before actually shaving it if the ratty part is all that's bothering you.

Shave period and then cut your hair to a reasonable length.To be frank about it you look like the picture was taken about 2 in the morning.

Trim it, take off the facial hair, and take care of it. If anything, at LEAST cut it shorter, but if you shave it off I will cry. That's not a threat, that's a promise.

Military cut might be good. Then again, if you do shave it, if your hair grows fast, it will soon become a military-style cut.

My brothers often get their hair cut quite short (buzz cut); I tend to think their hair looks nice a little longer. But it tends to get that way on its own, if left.

Yeah, military cut would be better than going bald. I voted yes because I think you *should* cut it, but I think shaving it would be a waste because you have really nice hair color.

man, you should see what happens when i go from really short to long, it starts out blonde, then goes to red, then goes to brown (like it is now), very trippy

Oh are we getting into The Mikado territory here or what?For those who aren't familiar with Gilbert & Sullivan in The Mikado Koko get's appointed Lord High Excutioner because 1)he's in jail on death row and 2)he can't preside at anyone
else's execution until 'he's mowed his own (head)off',meaning no-one else can be executed until Koko is since he was the next in line for the headman's axe.
