Martial arts actors

So, which martial arts actors do you like, and who is your favourite, if any?

I think Jet Li is good, but my favourite is Donnie Yen.

I saw bits of Donnie's moves in "In the Line of Duty" (can't remember which part) and "Dragon Tiger Gate". Though he is not as famous as Jet or Jackie Chan, I thought he was pretty slick.

I'm a Jackie Chan fan myself...I just love how his stunts are brilliantly done yet still funny.

Jackie Chan. Great humor, and IMHO, the best actor of them.

Which Final Fantasy Character Are You?
Final Fantasy 7

"The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

I'll echo the Jackie Chan fans who've already spoken; he was quite funny in Disney's version of Around the World in 80 Days.

Jackie Chan's older movies were good, but now more current movies (Like the Tuxedo and The Medallion) are all kind of lame.

Jet Li is also really good. So is Chow Yun Fat.

But nobody beats Andy Lau. Andy Lau, though not a martial artist, is like the greatest Hong Kong actor ever.

Tony Huaong (sp?) is also a great Hong Konbg actor. And good at martial arts to boot.

But it was the late great Bruce Lee who led the way.Martial arts movies without
Bruce Lee would be like James Bond without Sean Connery or Westerns without
John Wayne.Lee was the one that everyone wanted to be like and the one who inspired all the rest that came after him.

I liked Bruce Lee for his attitude towards martial arts. That we should always be learning new things and adding them to what we know. In a way, Bruce Lee is the grandfather of modern MMA (mixed martial arts) IE the UFC, Pride FC, etc.

I think there must have been a curse on the Lee family since Bruce died during the filming of a movie and his son died during the filming of another movie.

Michelle Yeoh is actually my favorite, although I am a Jackie Chan fan as well.

Jackie Chan, of course. Although I really like Sammo Hung. He's very funny. He's partnered a lot with Jackie Chan and his humor is based on his unexpected litheness, since his size is large. http://www.sammohung.com/

H_Fan: Have you seen My Lucky Stars, I think it is one of the most funniest martial arts movie I have seen! It stars Sammo and Jackie. :D

I like Michelle Yeoh, she is beautiful, graceful, elegant yet fierce and strong a lot like a Siberian White Tiger. I simply loved her in Crochting Tiger Hidden Dragon. Her character was my favorite in that movie.
