Of course with God you can help i guess..control that drive but that sin is still there and that thought of lust is always around you. Several people have control over what they think and do while other's have no control on it.
Here's something interesting...it seems it's not a sin to marry one of the opposing beliefe -> Corninthians 7:13 -> If any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to live with her, she should not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband is consecrated through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is consecrated through her husband.
