Question

I asked this girl (she's a christian) from my school to go to a youthgroup Christmas Banquet. Ever since I asked her she hasn't talked to me and I haven't been able to get a hold of her at all. I'm kindof confused. What should I do?

Girls can be funny like that. I would make one last honest effort to contact her. Say hey, I need an answer yes or no. Then, try to find someone else to take if that does not work out. If a girl wants to have somthing to do with you...they will cross heck and high water to get to it. If they seem kinda wishy washy...they probably are not interested.

I agree. remember to respect her, but also respect yourself! If she is giving you a cold shoulder, then move on. when MY WIFE and I were just friends, it took her half a second to say yes when I asked her on our first date.

Heh, I hate to tell you this, but pulling from my own experience...
When I was a teen and a guy showed interest in me that I had no interest in as more than a friend, 99% of the time I'd be a coward and avoid them, rather than telling them to their face that I wasn't interested. In fact, it got so bad that when one kid would call my house, and I didn't want to talk to him, I'd run out the back door so my mom could say I went out and not be lying. I was never very good at saying no. I'd just keep running till they got tired of chasing. Since I hated being rejected so much, I'd not want to do it to someone else - all the while not realizing that leaving them hanging was much worse...
Hehe, see, I had an experience in high school where a kid threatened to kill himself if I didn't date him. I was scared to death of rejecting people at that point.
You will probably have to confront her, and say "Listen, I really need to know what your answer is soon, so I know if I should ask someone else." Let her know it's ok if she says no, that you won't hate her or something. Just tell her you need to RSVP or whatever the case may be, and you need to know what your plans are.
I wish I could've give you better advice, but we girls are weird like that.
In Christ,
Dyzzi
