I think it maybe a hour long but I'm not sure. I'm going to check on that.

It's a two-parter.

The second part is what airs tonight, if I read the schedule correctly.

It is, in Japan. They made it an one hour ep, but here. They broke it up into two parts.

they showed that episodethe night before last so this morning was officially the last episode. let me just say if that really was the last episode it was very dissapointing. they just cut it off. no resolution to the story was ever made.
the onyl thing tat really got resolved was them finding out how to kill naraku and then goign in search of the heart.
after 176 episodes they couldnt even give it a decent ending. wich yes i guess taht would make you want to go and pick up the next volume of the manga but you think they could have given it a better ending then that. it was really a let down after all the time i have spent watching that anime.

It was 167.The series continues in the manga. So you either have to be patient and wait for the manga to get translated unless you know enough Japanese to find one of the websites that has it online.

As far as the ending for the anime went.I thought it was rather great.Very sweet
and touching.
Then again I am coming from the perspective of someone who is older and also has seen the ending for Silent Mobius which is very similiar. In both cases the main group of characters are shown riding off into the sunset for one more battle.
In the case of Silent Mobius it is the AMP flying off to confront the Lucifer Hawk for one last time and in the case of Inuyasha it is the Inu-gang going off in search of
Naraku again.

I think if they had ended it any other way there would have been no use for the manga to continue or for any more movies. But as it is there is still room for any additional movies or OVAs that they might like to make in the future.

The good news is they are going to be rerunning Inuyasha starting Monday at
12:30 and will run it until at least the 9th of November, the AS schedule didn't go
further than that.
Tuesday's episode will be AN ANCESTOR NAMED KAGOME,so all Kagome/Hojo shippers take note.

Edit: found out that movie 4 doesn't have anything to do with ending.

They has been talk that when the manga ends, that they will then make a full ending to the series.

Rumor has it that Rumiko Takahashi plans to do 500 chapters.Need to be patient and wait for them to catch up with the anime here, last I saw they were only as far as the Band of Seven story arch when it came to the manga being published here.
At least that was what the latest I saw when I was last at Barnes & Nobles.
As far as it goes I wouldn't be surprised if one day they decided to come out with
at least one more movie or an OVA to round things out with the anime as it seems too many people complain about the current ending. So who knows?

Getting back on topic:Aside from Inuyasha both FMA and GITS:SAC 2nd GIG
are continuing to be rerun on AS Mon.-Th.Saturdays looks like this:
11:30 Trinity Blood
Midnight Bleach
12:30 Eureka 7
1:00 Samurai Champloo
1:30 Paranoia Agent
I believe that Michelle Ruff is in three out of five of the shows listed,Bleach,Eureka 7 and Paranoia Agent.I am sure of two of them,Bleach and Paranoia Agent but not quite sure of the other one Eureka 7.

Is .hack//GU also called .hack//Roots?

I just got a report that .hack//Roots will start airing on November 11 at 5:30am.

.hack//GU is the video game (series).

.hack//Roots is the anime.

I found it a bit odd at the end of either Wednesday or Tuesday's GITS:SAC 2nd GIG instead of playing the normal second season end theme they played the first season.

I would give a 90% yes on that. It didn't say if it was repeats or not, but I think they are.

I had to go to AZN TV webpage to make sure it was right from the list that I had and they didn't show if it was a repeat or not.

If they're anything like CN then they probably are since AS repeats their entire line
up starting at 2 a.m.

Was yesterday's change of having ATHF at 12:30 a.m. instead of Inuyasha
announced or did they do that on the spur of the moment to irk everyone?
I ask because I was wondering what they were going to do after they ended
FMA on Wednesday.

Must have either been a spur-of-the-moment change or possibly a fluke. On Swim's site I can't find any reference to it; as of this next week they still have the weeknight anime lineup listed as

12:30 Inuyasha
1:00 FMA
1:30 GitS
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

 Looking for a GOOD music mix? Check out these stations:
Grey FM Heartland -- a mix of Country and Contemporary Christian music (Listen Now!)
Grey FM Downtown -- a mix of mainstream and Christian pop and rock music (Listen Now!)

I'm not able to get it on the regular Schedule page either. I did some digging on the AS site and eventually found a short-term schedule on the Fan Collective page:
http://fc.adultswim.com/Community/Home

For now it appears that on Thursdays it is Inuyasha at 1:00 a.m. and FMA at
1:30 a.m.That's just the way they've been doing it the past couple weeks.

Funny if they did. On Adult Swim webpage, they show it at the same time as Mon thru Wed.

Well they did it for a couple weeks and then went back to having Inuyasha at
12:30 kinda weird that.

I also did my regular checking at the AU forum at G4(one of the places I like to lurk)and didn't see any more there than before on it's current status.Although
Teggy the liaison for G4 at the AU board did mention that people should keep on writing to G4 to remind them that AU still has fans out there. Also she hinted she was up to something but wouldn't say what.
